The deletion that the Aristotelian Faith is protected by Concordats.

In short. The Empire will likely be on its way - removing religion from the Constitution. This will mean that the faith will no longer be protected and therefore neither will the dioceses, the clergy and the faithful.

Once this is accomplished, the Empire will become a purely secular state. All kinds of heresies will henceforth be allowed to take root in the Empire with impunity, since there will no longer be a state religion and no legal need to protect Aristotelianism.

Consistency does not seem to be the norm for the imperial nobility then, considering that they always claim to be faithful Aristotelians and only condemn the curia, but then push through anti-religious laws that have nothing to do with supporting their empress and only affect the community of the faithful. It is all more about secularising the state and finding the convenient justifications for doing so.

Nor has there been any attempt at dialogue on the part of the imperial authorities, which makes it clear that they have a clear objective, regardless of what happens in Rome. All I see is that they are forcing more and more every day for a total rupture.

On the other hand, I find the argument "we are defending the state from the interference of the curia" laughable, as if the excommunication of one person, even if she is the empress, constitutes a frontal attack, as if we had crusader armies marching through imperial territory. It is a perfectly calculated overreaction by the imperial advisors and "sons".

In the meantime I find myself at odds with Cardinal Felipe. Your criterion is objectively wrong. Excommunicating the Empress is an attack on the Empire in the same way that offending or attacking the Pope is an attack on the Holy Church. The meaning of these institutional roles is precisely that of representing the state (or the church). The Empress made "civil unions" for the Empire because she considered them important, therefore the choice of her was made in the full faculties of her role, therefore excommunicating her for a choice made as Empress is obviously an attack to the Empire. Then within the Empire there may be different ways of thinking is another matter.

Even in the Holy Church there are many ways of thinking but then we move as one body... all together... even when we go towards the precipice.

I have never been a supporter of the Empire but I believe that we must think about finding a way to repair these fractures, the situation of our Church in the Empire is already fragile due to the scarce presence of clerics (and many other reasons) if we leave going things in the direction the situation is going will only hurt us.

I know well that a reality in which the sovereign is at the head of the dioceses and all cults are authorized (including that of the Nameless Creature) already exists and it is England and I can assure you that in this confusion of cults there is no role for no church and every aspect of faith is completely irrelevant.

I'm not saying to compromise but once again I invite all of us to think of an alternative way not to lose everything. A meeting between the Pope and the Empress might also be appropriate."
