II) The structure of the Order

A) Deans and the Chapter of the Order

* The Franciscan Deans

Franciscan deans are prominent members of the Order. By their seniority, their experience of the game, their charisma and confidence with the Guardian, deans are models for all Franciscans.

The deans try, through their strong personalities and their wisdom, to enliven the lives of the inhabitants of their kingdom by various activities.

Their freedoms are unlimited; they can easily link religion and the worldly affairs, take major initiatives and promote the value of the Order. They are our shepherds.

The deans are appointed as such by our Guardian. It is a great honour to serve the community as such.

All deans form part of the Chapter Room, which is chaired by the Guardian. The Chapter is the governing body of the Order, all the important choices for the Order will be made by them. Its internal operation is based on discussion, the voting is prohibited, each brother gives his opinion and our Guardian has the last say.

B) The responsibilities in the Order

* The Guardian

He is a wise sage, guides the Order, establishes the guidelines, take decisions, and help all of us with his experience. The Guardian is the moral guarantor, he ensures consistency in the order during the period which we live in, he has all the powers of decision, appointment, punishment etc. He has no obligation to be present or work.

*Superior Abbot

He or she has the charge of being a shepherd for a particular abbey. The Guardian chooses and guides the superior abbot. Therefore the superior abbot represents the authority of the guardian at his or her abbey. He or she shall exercise this authority according to our Rule of life.

* The porter

He is friendly and happy to open the doors of our beautiful Convent to future Franciscan novices.
He also welcome guests (pilgrims, legates, princes, etc) in order not to prevent anyone the opportunity to make contact with us. The porter has the all the keys of the Convent.

* Brother Superior of the clergy

He is the guarantor of unity among the Franciscan clergy at Rome. The latter must be united with one voice. The Brother Superior of the clergy guides the votes, a result that positions that becomes available in a diocese or archdiocese are reserved for the Franciscans. Lastly, he organises common Res Parendo: Pilgrimages, Relics, ceremonies.

* The Schoolmaster and Master of Novices

He is in charge of the Franciscan school; responsible for the training of novices as well as that of the seminary. He promotes knowledge and the sharing of experience within the Order.

* Brother Librarian and Theologian

He defend the positions of the Franciscan in the Congregation of the Holy Office. He is the guardian of dogma within the Order. He works closely with the Schoolmaster in the teaching of theology.

He also manages the library of the Order; he classifies the books, review, update, and prompts the community to write new ones.

* Brother Superior of the Third Order

He manages the Third Order and develops the Franciscans programs. (Under review).

* Prior

He is in charge of Franciscan monks.

C) The Branches of the Order

* The Third Order

Third Order includes the lay Franciscans who wishes to adopt the values of the Franciscan Order through the temporal life of the kingdoms.

-He or she may invest as mayor, councillor or even the Duke (or even higher)
-His or her attitude must be consistent with the Franciscan values (historical, Res Parendo, etc).
-In his or her programmes and activities, the Franciscan community will support and help him or her.

* The Franciscan Cleric

This way represent the religious cleric of the kingdoms. This includes functions ranging from the deacons to the cardinals.
The Franciscan religious clerics care for the poor and the rich of this world. They try to spread the faith in all corners of each province; they also try to teach the masses about the Holy Universal and Roman Aristotelian Religion.

- The Franciscan religious cleric of the Church way represents the Roman Church in the Franciscan Order.
- Conversely, they represent the Franciscan Order in the secular Church, and try to spread our values.
- One may be a theologian (level 3 of the church way) or a lay faithful.
- He or she knows, respects and spreads the Aristotelian dogma and the Canon Law.

* The Franciscan monks

(This is still under construction.)
The monks will represent the Order [In Gratebus] whereby they will live in a community and choose a particular way of life.
The monasteries will have a fundamental role in the future development of our Order and the Church.
