On behalf of the Congregation of the Evangalization of the Peoples,
We, Angelo de Montemayor,
Prefect of the Office of the Pickle of Saint Theodulus;
Announce the following:
The recognition of a new first class relic and a second class relic:
o The body of Saint Loyats, which rests in the church of Canterbury
o Remains of the fishing boat of Saint Loyats, preserved in the church of Canterbury
Reminder: First class relics: objects directly associated with the events of the lives of Aristotle or Christos (particles of the Holy Cross, the nails of the crucifixion, pieces of the cradle, the Holy Shroud, etc.) or mortal remains of Saints (bones, hair, blood, etc.).
Second class relics: objects which the Saint wore (a tunic, gloves, etc.) and also objects which the Saint frequently used during his life, like a crucifix, books and if it was an important object named in the hagiography of the saint.
Recognized in Rome on the twenty-ninth day of the month of February in the Year of our Lord MCDLX, during the pontificate of His Holiness Innocent.

We give thanks to their recognition & importance not only to the Church but to England’s history as well.
May Canterbury be place of pilgrimage to those who wish to seek guidance & peace _________________

Canterbury will always exist, the walls may no longer be visible to the touch but it lives forever in our hearts, mind, teachings, and records.
People can still pilgrimage to the site where once it stood and with the spirit of their faith they can rejoice in the solace such a place can deliver to their being.
It is a real pleasure to have witnessed this honour bestowed on Saint Loyats and I thank the committee for recognising and making this announcement. _________________

I'm not old to remember what I remembered back then
I can’t sometimes remember what I done last week
But one thing is for sure he touched many & in turn those he touched, touched others so his legacy remains _________________

If you have found a relic in Scotland of a by Rome verified saint and the Office of Saints declares it as a relic, then Scotland will have a relic, brother. _________________
