Terminado a leitura, Pascoal fecha o livro das virtudes e começa a falar:

- Esse capítulo expressa muito bem qual é o nosso objeto enquanto Ordem, irmão. Nós devemos ser a vela no caminho dos incrédulos, devemos alcançar todos os infiéis e sermos a luz que iluminará as vossas vidas, em nome de Jah, Nosso Senhor! - faz uma breve pausa para refletir - Irmão Evaísto, devemos ser como os Apóstolos, expandir a fé Aristotélica e trabalhar incansavelmente para edificação da Igreja. Está preparado para atender ao chamado de Deus?

- Omnipotente Deus, Pai da Humanidade, eu Evaisto Próspero, mesmo indigno de estado em sua presença, confiando no seu amor infinito para os seus filhos, com o único desejo de servi-lo, na frente dos Profetas e os santos, eu pronuncio os votos de obediência, a Sua Santidade o Papa ea hierarquia da nossa Ordem; Para sempre olhar para o Conhecimento e a Verdade, como uma forma de entender a sua criação e da sua vontade; Para difundir a fé, não importa onde, trabalhando não só para a nossa perfeição na Ordem, mas para a salvação de cada alma; e eu também prometem ser humilde e austero, rejeitando qualquer egoísmo e ganância.

Trazia consigo uma caixa forrada com todos os paramentos:

- Agora, Eu dar-lhe o anel de nossos irmãos, símbolo de seu apego sincero de nossa Ordem e ao juramento que pronunciei hoje. Que o nome de Christos, nosso Profeta, incisão em seu anel você lembra para sempre, a sua nova missão.

Terminado a fala, entregou o estandarte com o sol negro estampado no pano branco

- O Sol representa o Paraíso solar, queremos chegar, a dupla A representa os ensinamentos de Aristóteles: ambos A estão em espelho, porque um é o mundo ideal do Dogma Ensinamentos, a Verdade Eterna, e o outro representa o nosso desejo de aplicar o seu palavras do mundo secular... entregou ao Irmão

Agora subiu no altar, para entregar a alva negra que dos jesuítas

- Agora lhe entrego a roupa dos Jesuítas! Ela é a armadura de Deus, te protegerá te todo mal e das criaturas que vivem nas sombras!

[17th of December 1465 - Baptism of Rick]


Among the three churches that housed the fortified structure of the monastery, surrounded by pine trees and the lush Mediterranean vegetation, was a very special building. It was in fact a church, that tradition had linked with the first saint martyrs.

The structure, whose foundation stone was laid in the seventh century, had been renewed with the arrival of the Holy Order, which had rebuilt it on the basis of the ancient remnants : the predecessor architecture was augmented and accentuating by the Renaissance style, and the decor was modified with the ennobling of the altar and internal decorations. Nevertheless, it remained simple, in the Jesuit style.

That Church dedicated to the Apostle, served often for the ceremonies and rites for faithfuls of the farther corners of the Aristotelian Faith, but any monk or visitor who passed through the doors was welcomed to pray or witness.

[17th of December 1465 - Baptism of Rick]

It have been years ago now that she was here in Rome. She remembers it well. It was for the baptism of her sister Morrigan de Pirou and for her to become a priest. And now this day she is here again, but now for the baptism of her beloved cousin Rick. Short for Roderick. She never uses that name.
When she arrives at the chapel she looks up to read the tekst. When she was much younger and was forced to study she could read it with no problem, but now, years later, a different life it gets harder. She will ask later what it says.

The dress she wears is one she had for a while, but isn't the best to wear on a ship and there is she most of the time. While she slowly enters the chapel she thinks about her sister-in-law. Tefta who is also a priest, but she has no idea if she will find her here. But for now it's Ricks day to shine.

She decide not to enter the chapel right away, but she will wait untill Rick or Ariana will arrive too. Or who knows even her friend His Eminence himself.

[Roderick de Pirou]

[17th of December 1465]

He had travelled a long way, Roma isn't just around the corner. He have been here quite some times, some time ago. That was for visiting the Seminar, but now is he here for something more important. He is gonna be baptised, he is gonna be a full member of the Aristotelic Church.

When he arrives at the church, he sees that his niece already arrived. Smiling he walks to her and embraces her. Cath! So nice to see you again, it has been way too long. Thank you so much for being here today. He observes her for a moment and then smiles at her. Cath, you look lovely, like you always do. And he gives a fast blink. Have you seen Riaan already? Or his Eminence Hull?

A shadow stepped out of the place called sacristy, making its way towards the two arriving faithfuls.

"He is among you, my dear son and daughter."

He laughed.

"Welcome to the favored Church of the Holy Order of Christos' Star. We welcome you, I and all my brothers and sisters."

Estevan had been invited by Hull to the ceremony. He had been a Jesuit for a little while and had not had time to attend baptisms and ceremonies for a while. His two faithful depended on his primacy. So he took advantage of being in Rome to come. He greeted the two faithful whom he did not know. And greeted hull and waited for the rest of the ceremony with a small smile.

She smiles at her cousin and hugs him back. It have been too long indeed, Rick. That must not happen again! You hear me? She pinches him and chuckles. No problem Rick, i didn't even had to think of coming or not. I think Morri would have done something to me if i refused to come. I haven't seen Arie yet. But im sure she will come so..... Then the sound of a low voice scared the hell out or her. She was close to start to scream or even worse to attack the person. When she looks at him a feeling of relief drops over her and she takes a deep breath. Your Eminence... She can smile again and her heartbeat goes back to a normal rythm. This all when she bow for her friend. It is good to see you again, but you did scrared me just now! She laughs and then an other men appears. She looks at him but she have never seen him. Without thinking she offers her hand so she can introduce herself. Sir, my name is Cath Skuraj de Pirou. Its nice to meet you.

[Ariana]

Ariana is late, very late indeed. Normally she would have picked up her pace or made sure she didn't have a lot to do the days before such an important event, but now... She had received good news, but also bad. And she had to look up information of her own baptism as well. Panting slightly she turns a corner and finally the chapel comes into view. Quickly she looks downwards, toward her dress. Because of the rain and the mud the bottom seems quite wet and dirty. She sighs, but straightens her shoulders and walks forward.

Arriving at the chapel, she sees Cath, Rick and two other men. She bows at the last ones and quickly gives both Cath and Rick a kiss on the cheek. I do hope I'm not too late? Things were getting a little bit out of hand, so I had to rush over here to be in time. Realizing she hadn't introduced herself, she looks at the two gentlemen who look like they might be Priest or something higher. Goodday, my good sirs. My name is Ariana di Saronno, Countess of Hilversum, Lady of Heemstede and friend of Roderick. She smiles and takes another bow at them.

[Roderick de Pirou]

Cath hugs him back while he smiles. I agree on that, we really need to see each other more often! And anyway thanks for coming, it's a long journey to Roma. Did I tell you Morri is probably also gonna join us..? Then a low voice speaked behind him, he can see the fear at Caths face and he is quite shocked himself too. But the person stepped out of the shadow and politely greets him and Cath. When Cath greets the man it becomes clear to Roderick who he is. Your Eminence, so nice to finally meet you. When he sees there is an other person along side the Cardinal who is gonna baptise him he politely greets him to. Sir, let me introduce myself, I am Roderick de Pirou, Lord of Beverwijk, and I am the person who is gonna be baptised today. Nice to meet you. And he friendly smiles at the man.

And then also Ariana arrives. She gives him a fast kiss on his cheek. He smiles at her when he greets her. It is okay Riaan, we haven't started yet. And thank you so much for coming and for being my godmother.

"Greetings to all of you, my dear children. This is Monsignor Estevan, Primate of the Church of the Holy Roman Empire, and member of the Holy Order.

If any of you have questions, you may say so now. If not, well, we can move on to the reason of this meeting : baptism."
