It appears that An Gort may have been coded as well:

Citation:
Parish of An Gort

Priest None

This parish comes under
the administration of the
Diocese of Kilmacduagh (Province of Tuam)

Citation:
The Pope: Eugene V

Province of Tuam
Metropolitan Diocese: Diocese of Tuam

Suffragan dioceses:
Diocese of Kilmacduagh
Diocese of Roscommon

Diocese of Kilmacduagh
(depends on the Province of Tuam)

Diocesan council

If so, I would like to respectfully request that a Priest be ordained in An Gort.

Kind Regards,
Dee Snider - Outgoing Mayor of An Gort

Unhappily we are unable to appoint anyone without Bishops. Maybe, on a temporary base, we could define that:

Citation:
Parish of Inis, Diocese of Killaloe - Mother Funmath

Parish of An Gort, Diocese of Kilmacduagh - Pamsel or Kailya

I am already exchanging messages with Kailya, she may wants to be ordained. I am going to officially contact Pamsel too. In case we end up with 2 priests in one sigle town, I am going to invite one of them to move to the nearest Diocese - we have too many vacant positions.

Many thanks for all your help guys!

Understood - thank you for the information, Father Paullo!

Jaseph is the new Mayor of An Gort, so if you need anything, please contact him as I am now out of office.

Kind Regards,
Dee

Baile Locha Riach for example.

In fact, I think we need to check all the parishes because I have some doubt.

@Invisible007: What do you have doubts about? Confused

@ Paullo: Mother Fun? To avoid that I need to find another church way? Wouldn't we still need a priest? What do I look for in a bishop?

I am sorry, I don't know if I understood your question correctly. However, you are a Sacristan Deacon aren't you? Being so, you can't be a Bishop, but can do the services of a Parish Priest. Unless you are willing to take the vows, get the 3 months experience and to become a Bishop, you will need to wait another level 3 to become a Bishop to appoint you after that.

Meanwhile, you can RP the position ... or to move to Loch Garman, where I am going to appoint you as a Parish Priest. It is still Ireland, in Laighean County Smile

I'm mayor of Inis, so leaving Inis is out of the question. I'd rather be a sacristan deacon and find a bishop that is willing to take the vows. I have nothing against the vows, except the one that says I can't get married. Wink And I wanted to know the requirements for a bishop. I also wanted to know if it would be easier to find someone that can be bishop, or if it would be easier for me to give up on men and become a bishop.

Here's the info from Baile Locha Riach:

Many thanks for the information regarding the new parishes Funmath!

A priest can become Bishop after three months of experience and a vote of approval done by members of the Episcopal Assembly. Officially, these are the conditions to become a Bishop.

The priest restrictions still apply though: the vows (no weapons, chastity and obedience), and avoiding intimacy with members of anathema organizations. In case of Ireland, NNGO, WOS and their Irish branches (Dagda's wolf, etc.). Membership to ONE or any criminal organization is not well seen as well.

I think I gave this is a complete answer Wink

Well if I have to take a vow of chastity, I should avoid intimacy all together. Razz Which means I should stay a deacon. Wink

Please forgive my intervention on this affair. With due respect I would just like to add little more information on this discussion.

Kailya and Pamsel of An Gort and Lordl of Baile Átha Luain have recently enrolled in the Seminary for their studies. Therefore it will only take a little time for them to be prepared to take on parish responsibilities. They can even be installed in their respective parishes while completing their seminary studies.

I am not much sure of the information but as far as I know Kailya is a deaconess and is waiting to be ordained. Pamsel is already a priestess and is just waiting to be installed in a parish.

Lordl on the other hand wishes to be a deacon but there is not yet a priest in his parish to appoint him. Canon Law states that a deacon must be nominated by his parish priest in agreement of his bishop and he must be instated by his parish priest or his bishop. Maybe you could easily arrange this and send someone to appoint him.

Once Kailya, Pamsel and Lordl are properly assigned to their respective parishes, you'll have three less parishes to worry about in the Archdiocese of Tuam.

At last we have a complete map of the parishes/dioceses of Ireland and we can work efficaciously. The Episcopal Assembly is working on several projects. I think that we will be able to fill several offices of priests.
