Vi nominiamo alla carica di Cardinale Suffragante Italofono"

Fece una pausa il camerlengo e tirò su da terra il nuovo cardinale e gli pose in testa la berretta cardinalizia e gli consegnò l'anello.



Sorrise il camerlengo dopo la consegna e simbolicamente fece una carezza al viso del cardinale in segno di benedizione.

"Carissimi fratelli, ora che siete giunti a tale rango, sappiate e ricordate sempre quel che siete e il nuovo compito che la chiesa di Roma vi chiede.

Che la benedizione del Signore sia con Voi, discenda sulle vostre famiglie e con Voi rimanga sempre.

Amen.
