If demobilisation goes ahead, the soldiers will have to be paid their outstanding pay. I was able to draw up an attendance sheet of all the soldiers involved since mobilisation began. But I didn't follow every stage of the mobilisation. So, to avoid mistakes, can I submit my work to you so that you can correct this register?

Here it is.

I can't work out exactly whether some soldiers are volunteers or people representing a nobleman. I have written in gold the names of those who seemed to me to be equestrian nobles or their representatives (and who therefore owe 20 days to the army without pay). But there are bound to be mistakes.

I can also confirm that we've been supplying the army for three days and wages have been paid for three days. My chart will allow me to keep track of the wages from before, but as for the supplies before I arrived, it's all very hazy and I haven't managed to find any clear tracking in the mobilisation room. What I do know is that some soldiers made donations, the others fended for themselves. It's a very uncomfortable situation, and it's a shame that no proper follow-up has been done.

Our soldiers have shown great resilience, and they are to be commended for it. They have all agreed to pay for their own hotel nights, on top of the rations that didn't come and the salaries that were so long in coming.

Thanks to Diane, with whom I've been working hard for the last three days, we've managed to normalise the situation a little. But there's still a lot of work to be done to bring everything to a proper close.
