I have been contact in the Royal Embassy by Baldan who wishes to possibly form a Religious based military Chivalric Order. I have told him that we already have the Order of Her Sacred Rose and that he should contact Hildebrandt. He is looking at bringing in laity to serve the church's need and help in escort missions. It might help if a member of the HSR could contact him or send me info on the formation of orders and the HSR that I can pass on to him in the Embassy Chambers.

It is also Her Eminence Sepia's field, so she may add a word.

I don't want to allow another military order, anybody interested in someting like that should join the HSR and work at making it more active rather than staring from scratch.

That was what I told him as well. Perhaps you can contact him with more info on the HSR and in doing so we can work with him to bring in more members to rebuild and renew activity within the HSR.

I do not know much about the HSR, but I feel one way to be active is to have new members. Existing members tend to have periods of low activity.

I saw a suggestion that members of the HSR can be asked to carry Grants. People of the Church tend to have a reputation of being reliable, and many members of the HSR will proclaim themselves to be a part of the HSR. I think we can try to capitalize on that, to encourage HSR members to move around their County, to carry grants and doing other small services for their townships, to be seen as working alongside everyone else, playing a beneficial role in their towns. This I hope can give people the impression that the HSR is a part of their County, that it has a good reputation, and being a member can improve their social standing.

This is also good to remind the critics of the Church, we are active and we are helping. Not only are our leaders trying to improve our image, our laity can represent the Church in this as well. May I also sugest that our Bishops visit the HSR grounds from time to time, to bring News from Rome, to let the members know their spiritual leaders appreciate and care about them.

Somone should give us the link sister, so it could be added in a post in clear view. Last time i visited, i stayed for 2 weeks in front of the remains of the old castle...

PS: is the "castle" visible by all in England, Scotland, Ireland (In RK2)?

Castle? Do you mean the HSR Forum? All HSR members anywhere can see it as far as I know. (I can in Ireland and there are lots of English members, i'm not sure about Scotland but Ireland/England definitely can).

I am sorry Your Eminence. I am confused by the term 'Castle' as well. I too will assume you mean the HSR forums on RK forum 1.

The link is:
http://forum.renaissancekingdoms.com/viewforum.php?f=1242

Forum #1 Index -> Universal and Roman Aristotelian Church of England, Scotland, and Ireland -> The Holy and Chivalrous Order of Her Sacred Rose

I hope these directions are helpful.

Seneschal Lordwilb is indeed correct. The HSR grounds are open to everyone including those not of the Order. If you mean the HSR inner sanctuary in Forum 2, I believe that is a Hidden group (forum). I have not been able to find my way inside.

I have to confirm that Reverend Leia. The inner sanctum (The Keep) of the HSR in Forum 2 is hidden and can only be accessed by its members.

Thank you Fr. I think I know now why Cardinal Latan was spending two lonely weeks in the Castle (the Keep). No one found the Castle.

Oh yes, the old castle has unfortunately fell into great disrepair, Father Latan! We have now moved, with public grounds within the Church Estates (URAC forums on forum 1) and a private keep (Forum 2, HSR members only).

Actually Cardinal Latan, as a member of the ESPC, should have access there as well. So the mod there should add the cardinals to the group.

Maybe Bishop Paullo can deal with this. He is the most senior in the Order and can discuss it with the Grand Master regarding the access of Cardinal Latan to the HSR Keep in Forum 2.
