We, the members of the Order of St. Dominicus of Burgos, Oblates, monks and dignitaries gathered at the Chapter, wish Merry Holydays, and wish a rich Future Year, full of Love and Spirituality.
Hello Anglophone People.
We, friars of the Monastery of San Dominicus, are pleased to announce the opening of the Seminary within the walls of our abbey.
These events, at a time so festive, led us to want to usher in the best way our classrooms.
For this reason we'd love, at least for a week, to transform the monastery into a large laboratory of Arts and Culinary Arts.
In fact, to celebrate the decline of yet another year of Our Lord, in communion with the final recognition of the seminary, we decided it was laden with two activities, which reach their ending day January 7, 1459.
It was made clear the need to modernize the architecture of the monastery, now antiquated, even glorious.
For this reason, we look for artists, master craftsmens, master herborifers, architects and builders able to produce:
I A New Gate.
II A laboratory facilities for carpentry work and paper mill.
III The renovation of the exterior walls of the Abbey.
IV The remake central arch of the Chapter, and the arches of the refectory, the cloister, the chapel, guest quarters and the Scriptorium.
V' Painting frescoes for the rooms used in the seminar.
VI Inlaid wood furniture for the Library.
VII A cesellamerie work for the drains.
VIII A cure boschifere adjacent activities.
We therefore invite interested parties to appear to the Monastery:

to agree the final details of the commission, and instructions for use.
If multiple requests for the Commission, the Monastery will compare the different projects, and will choose the most suitable work.
We recommend moderation in the momentum artistic and elegant style.
To celebrate this news with brio, the Dominican Order calls on the faithful of the Holy Roman Aristotelian Church, and especially those who are better paid in the culinary arts at the celebratory dinner to be held on the 7th, the deadline by which articulates what projects architecture have been chosen for our Monastery.
Asked to you, politely, not to come without food at the Monastery.
Who will bring a first, who a second, others, sweet, no one will be refused.
However, at the end of the day will mark the best dish of the day, and therefore will be crowned the best culinary artist.

Noi frati del Monastero di San Domenico siamo lieti di annunciarvi dell'apertura del Seminario di Insegnamento Aritotelico all'interno delle mura della nostra abbazia.
È per noi fonte di gioia estrema darvi tale annuncio, poiché adesso potremo inaugurare i corsi di Pastorale, Pastroale Maxima, Diplomazia, Inquisizione, Teologia e Noviziato; utili per conseguire la via del sacerdozio, dell'ambasciatore, dell'inquisitore ed altre cariche in seno al clero secolare ed alle Congregazioni.
Questi avvenimenti, in un periodo così festoso, ci hanno indotto a voler inaugurare nel migliore dei modi le nostre aule.
Per questo motivo non ci dispiacerebbe, almeno per una settimana, di trasformare il monastero in un grande laboratorio artistico e culinario.
Infatti, per celebrare il tramonto dell'ennesimo anno di Nostro Signore, in comunione col Riconoscimento definitivo del Seminario, noi si è deciso di imbandire due attività, che raggiungeranno il proprio culmine giorno 7 Gennaio 1459.
Si è resa palese la necessità di riammodernare l'architettura del Monastero, oramai vetusta, seppur gloriosa.
A tal cagione, ricerchiamo artisti, mastri artigiani, mastri erboriferi, architetti e muratori in grado di produrre:
I Un nuovo Portone.
II Una struttura di laboratorio per opere di falegnameria e di carteria.
III Il rifacimento delle mura esterne dell'Abbazia.
IVIl rifacimento dell'arcata centrale del Capitolo, e delle arcate del Refettorio, del Chiostro, della Cappella, dello Scriptorium e della Foresteria.
V La pitturazione di affreschi per le stanze adibite al Seminario.
VI L'intarsio di mobili in legno per la Biblioteca.
VII Un lavoro di cesellamerie per i canali di scolo.
VIII Una cura delle attività boschifere adiacenti.
Invitiamo pertanto gli interessati a presentarsi al Monastero:

In
caso di plurime richieste di commissione, il Monasterò metterà a confronto i diversi progetti, e sceglierà l'opera più confacente.
Si raccomanda la moderazione nello slancio artistico e stile sobrio.
Per festeggiare con brio queste nobità, l'Ordine Domenicano invita i fedeli della Santa Chiesa Aristotelica Romana, e specialmente coloro i quali sono maggiormente versati nell'arte culinaria, al pranzo celebrativo che si terrà giorno 7, termine ultimo entro al quale sanciremo quali progetti architettonici sono stati scelti per il nostro Monastero.
È richiesto, con cortesia, di non giungere al Monastero sprovvisti di cibarie.
Chi porterà un primo, chi un secondo, chi un dolce, nessuno sia rifiutato.
Tuttavia al termine della giornata si sancirà il miglior piatto del giorno, e verrà incoronato quindi anche il miglior artista culinario.
