The golden light of Rome glinted off the shining marble of the city as hordes of citizens and theologians hurried to and fro. From the parapets of one building in particular, large banners fluttered, a deep red vibrant against the backdrop of the city. Here stood the headquarters of the Holy and Chivalrous Order of Her Sacred Rose in the Church's city itself, the Order being its military-religious wing in the states of England, Scotland and Ireland.

The Grand Priory was impressive, indeed - but not so much that the Order lost sight of its true purpose - the service of Jah and the Holy Church and the following of the codes set down by its founders, Saints Bertilde and Calandra.

The gates were open to visitors, and a number of members of the Order were expected to visit the new Priory.

Liam approached the Order's new Grand Priory of Rome. He smiled - it was truly beautiful - not just the building, but the service to which it was dedicated - that of Jah.

He approached the gates, his priestly robes flowing. The guards bowed, and respectfully said, "Welcome, Father."

As Seneschal, he made his way around the Grand Priory unobstructed, fascinated by the place. He wondered if any of the Order's full brothers or sisters - the armsmen - or even perhaps members of its Council were there.

In one of the Grand Priory's offices sat Armsman Innes, who having already been in Rome on nunciature business had been the first of the order's members to arrive. In the office he sat writing letters and notes, busy as per the usual.
