It was early in the morning when Cardinal Leopold, the Dutch prelate, asked some monks to go sound the bells. While he was preparing himself for the ceremony in the sacristy he suddenly heared the bells and smiled.

The sound sound spread over the whole area, calling the faithful to the basilic of Saint Titus and her side chapel, the Chapel of Saint Nicolas V.

Cardinal Darien slipped quietly into the magnificent church for the fine occaisson that would soon take place, noticing he was slightly early he took a seat in a pew and bowed his head for a moment of prayer while he waited for others to arrive, he hoped he didn't offend anyone for arriving like this and sent praise to Jah for allowing the opportunity to present itself.

Monsignor Sylarnash knowing the realization of an ordination ceremony at the "Chapelle Saint Nicolas V" rushes a bit to finish his affairs in the Nunciature and goes to the chapel.

After taking a place within that house of Jah, the priest showed up a bit head down , prays to the Almighty and waits for the start of the ceremony.

[[one week earlier]

Colar was preparing for his big journey. The trip from Holland to Rome would take circa 5 days. Colar took only the things that were needed. He called one of the servants and let him prepare the horses. With his lugage and dressed in an ordinary tunica with the cross of the Teutonic Order printed on it, he walked to the coach. Colar gave the sign to the driver and the journey started. 4 days, Colar did nothing else than praying, sleeping and eating. But he made sure that he only ate what was necessary to stay alive. Like this, his spirit would be cleaned.

[Rome]

Colar entered the gates of the beautiful city, Rome. When he came closer to the basilic, he heard that the bells of the Chapelle Saint Nicolas V sounded. He took his golden cross he has got from his father and put it around his neck. The chapel was very impressive. Colar was also very honoured that he was the first man of Holland who was ordained in Rome.

Colar entered the Chapel and saw already a few people sitting on the benches. When Colar saw Cardinal Leopold, he went to him and bowed.

[that day: Den Haag]

Lilly went to the central square of the country because of the coming elections.

After she turned herself in some discussions she looked around and saw the country's newsboard. On that board was a new message. When she readed it she took a moment silence.

Colar one of the old collegues in party would become a priest today.
Why didn't walk the messenger faster, now she couldn't become in time anymore. To Rome it was a very long journey, doing that on one day wouldn't be possible.

There weren't a lot of options left because most of them would need days.

So she decided to sent a dove to Colar, and to burn a candle in the Church of Den Haag.

Guillaime's first steps in Rome made him feel so little.
In this big city so far away from home he did even get a strange feeling of homesickness. But he had made a promise to Colar that he would appear at his ordination.

He found the place hard to find, but after he asked a few people it didn't take too long for him to discover the right place.
While he was walking into the chapel he was looking around, he didn't even know if he was allowed here because he was not baptized.

He spotted Colar and walked right in front of him.

Goedendag heer Colar, ik wil u vooraf feliciteren met uw priesterwijding en u laten weten dat ik ben gearriveerd. *

Then he recognized Bill and he also greeted him.

Ook goedendag Bill, het is redelijk lang geleden hé?*

*Goodday lord Colar, I want to felicitate you with your ordination and let you know I arrived.

*Also a godday to you Bill, it's been a while huh?

Cardinal Leopold seemed to be very busy. So Colar let him work. He saw Bill, one of his dearest friends in the Teutonic Order entering the capel. Colar walked on to him and greeted him.

Pax Vobiscum Bruder Bill. Thank you for your quick change of plans. I really appreciate that. Enjoy the mass. To be honest, I'm really nervous.

When he was still talking to Bill, he saw another well known face entering the chapel of the basilic. It was Guillaime, a very nice citizen of Rotterdam.

Hello lord Guillaime. I hope you had a nice trip? Thanks for the felicitation.

The Cardinal greeted the faithful who came in the basilica. Some came from Holland, a long trip and a travel he has made many times. He also recognized some brothers of the faith he met in Rome and greeted them with a friendly gesture.

He stood besides the altar, and let brother Colar welcome his friends. When all were in, the ordination could start.

Yes, the trip was nice, but a little bit long. But i've never been in Rome so I've got something to tell back in Holland. And I believe you'll also.

He looked friendly at Colar and he decided to sit down until the ordination would start.

The Archbishop of Cologne had made the long journey to Rome. It was a special occasion which brought him there. The Teutonic brother Colar would be ordained to the priesthood. He knew him as a little boy and was glad he became a priest in his archdiocese. He greeted all acquaintances and looked for a place in the church.

When Colar thought the most of his friends were in the basilic, he turned around, walked to Cardinal Leopold.

Father, you can proceed the ordination, so I can serve Jah and the people better.

When brother Colar told him that the ceremony could begin he went to the sacristy with him. He gave him his liturgical vestments of the office of a deacon and himself wore those of a Cardinal of the Holy Roman Aristotelian Church. When they were both ready, they returned in the side-chapel of the great basilica.

They went to the altar, and stood behind it. Colar stood on his right-side. Leopold recognized many faces, from Holland and Rome. With a welcoming gesture he spread his arms.

Dear brothers and sisters, welcome! Welcome to this glorious day, given to us by the Almighty. Each day is a gift to all of us, but for one man, present here, this day will be even more special. Brother Colar, our brother in faith, has expressed his wish to enter the priesthood. Time went by and I have seen him grow. Today he is ready and today he will recieve the sacrament of ordination, investing him as a priest of the Holy Roman Aristotelian Church, a servant of the Most High and the faithful.

Let us rejoice and show our faith by singing those words we all know...

Credo in Deum,
Altissimum Omnipotentem,
Creatorem caeli et terrae,
Inferos et paradisi,
Ultima hora animae judicem nostrae

Et in Aristotelem, prophetam,
Nicomaqui Phaestique filium,
Missum ut sapientiam et universi
Divas leges errantibus hominibus erudiret

Credo etiam in Christum,
Natum ex Maria et Ioseph,
Vitam dedit ut nobis paradisi viam monstraret
Sic, postquam sub Pontio passus est
Propter salutem
Nostram martyr perivit
Consecutus est Solem
Ubi Aristoteles ad Altissimi dexteram eum expectabat

Credo in Divinam Actionem,
Sanctam Ecclesiam aristotelicianam, romanam, unam et indivisibilem
Sanctorum communionem,
Peccatorum remissionem,
Vitam aeternam.

AMEN!
