when Cardinal Leopold the credo starts, Elequest sings along

Credo in Deum,
Altissimum Omnipotentem,
Creatorem caeli et terrae,
Inferos et paradisi,
Ultima hora animae judicem nostrae

Et in Aristotelem, prophetam,
Nicomaqui Phaestique filium,
Missum ut sapientiam et universi
Divas leges errantibus hominibus erudiret

Credo etiam in Christum,
Natum ex Maria et Ioseph,
Vitam dedit ut nobis paradisi viam monstraret
Sic, postquam sub Pontio passus est
Propter salutem
Nostram martyr perivit
Consecutus est Solem
Ubi Aristoteles ad Altissimi dexteram eum expectabat

Credo in Divinam Actionem,
Sanctam Ecclesiam aristotelicianam, romanam, unam et indivisibilem
Sanctorum communionem,
Peccatorum remissionem,
Vitam aeternam.

AMEN!

When the last sounds of the creed faded away, the Cardinal took a moment to enough the overwhelming silence in this beautiful house of the Most High. It was indeed a great honor to be present here, thinking of the events that took place here in the past.

With the creed sung it was time for the vows, a required step before the young brother Colar could become ordained.

He and brother Colar stepped from behind the altar to in front of it. The Cardinal placed his hand on his shoulder and asked him to kneel.

Brother Colar, you have told me that you desire to recieve the holy priesthood. It is an honorable choice, but are you still sure of it? Before one is ordained, one must take the vows. Vows which will refraine you from certain things, so that you can focus more and intensly on the priesthood, your life of service to the Almighty and the community.

I ask you now, brother: do you swear to refrain from the wearing of arms and to use the words as means of justice?

Do you swear to forsake the sacrament of marriage, the right of adoption and to start a family, and to live in celibacy, to become a groom of the Holy Mother Church and father of all the faithful under your care?

Do you swear to be an example in the community and to give preference to study and prayer instead of worldy and temporal ambition and possesions?

Do you swear to do whatever is needed, appropriate with your status as shepherd, to strive to become a fully learned theologian of the Holy Roman Aristotelian Church and by doing so offering your capacities to the service of the true faith and it's faithfuls?

What is your answer to these four questions, brother?

When the silence came back after singing the creed, the Cardinal turned his face to Colar. He gave a sign to walk in front of the altar. When he was asked to, Colar kneeled and looked up to Leopold.

I swear to refrain from the wearing of arms and to use the words as means of justice!

I swear to do whatever is needed, appropriate with your status as shepherd, to strive to become a fully learned theologian of the Holy Roman Aristotelian Church and by doing so offering your capacities to the service of the true faith and it's faithfuls!

I swear to be an example in the community and to give preference to study and prayer instead of worldy and temporal ambition and possesions!

I swear to forsake the sacrament of marriage, the right of adoption and to start a family, and to live in celibacy, to become a groom of the Holy Mother Church and father of all the faithful under your care!

I'm willing to give up everything needed to become a priest of the Holy Church. I will do everything in my power to keep the good name of the Church and to promote and bring the religion from Jah to the people.

Leopold was pleased to hear the commitment brother Colar just exclaimed in front of the Almighty and the community. Now it was time for the triple obedience.

Brother Colar, apart from your personal commitment to the Church, we also as you to swear the triple obedience:

Do you swear to obey to the ecclastical hierarchy, instituted by the Prophet Christos, with the His Holiness the Pope as Supreme Authority on Earth?

Do you swear to obey and uphold the Holy Dogma, in which the two sources of our faith are incapitived, the Reason of Aristotle and the Love of Christos?

Do you swear to obey and uphold the Canon Law, rules and laws of our Holy Mother Church?

Now, on this exact hour, he felt Jah closer to him than ever before. He never had felt such a strong love, such a strong warmth.

I swear to obey to the ecclastical hierarchy, instituted by the Prophet Christos, with the His Holiness the Pope as Supreme Authority on Earth!

The Cardinal smiled. Brother Colar was ready. Four monks were standing besides the altar, waiting for the Cardinal's orders. He noded at the first one, who brought forth a bowl of water. Leopold took it from the monk and lifted it high above his head and said, with loud voice:

Behold! Water, purifying, cleaning our sins away in the baptism!

The monk took back the bowl with water and the next monk stepped forward and handed over a bowl. This one contained dirt, a handful of earth. It wasn't just any piece of dirt. It was a handful of earth from Holland, a symbolical way of bringing Holland to Rome. Again, Leopold lifted the bowl and said:

Behold! The earth! When our bodies die and our soul rises to the Solar Paradise our remains become one with earth again!

He then gave the bowl back and took the next work, in it lay pieces of cloth, drenched in oil, and who were now lit. He felt the warmth of the fire and again, lifted it up, a bit more careful now, and said:

Behold! The fire! Giving us warmth and light! Let us spread this warmth of our hearts and light of our souls to our brothers and sisters!

The fourth and last monk came with a thurible, a censer suspended with chains. The incense inside was burning and the Cardinal took it and waved it, spreading it's aromatic smell across the church. He made a sign of the cross in the air with it, above brother Colar's head.

Behold! The air! With this holy incense I drive away the evil. May you be cleared of all evil and stand before us as worthy of the priesthood.

After he has given the thurible back to the monk, he raised his arms and said:

All these four elements are tied to this world, created by the Almighty Father. The fifth and last element is the divine element, like our souls rise up to meet the Creator in the Heavens of the Sun, so does the Holy Ether rise up.

A vial with the Holy Ether was handed to him by a monk. He opened it, and quickly placed his tumb on the opening. He then turned the vial upside down a few times, and he felt the ether. The Cardinal then gave the vial back to the monk and made the sign of the aristotelian cross on the forhead of brother Colar, who was still kneeling before him.

Brother Colar, be blessed by this Holy Ether, by God the Almighty, by the Prophets, the Apostles and all the Saints of our Church, both those known by name to us and those who died namelessly and silent. Receive the ministry of the priesthood and rise as a priest of the Holy Roman Aristotelian Church, father Colar!

Recieve this medal as a sign of your priesthood.

The Cardinal placed his hand on his shoulder and say to him, softly:

Proficiat, broeder.

And with a smile helped the new priest back up.

Colar had never seen an ordination, so he didn't really know what would happen. He still was kneeling when monk by monk the elements were given to the Cardinal. The ordination was over before Colar realized it. When he was blessed, he felt a flame inside is heart, a flame of love. The medal he got, was more than a medal for him. It was a sign for everyone to let them see that he was there for them.

Colar didn't really know what he had to do know, so he thanked Cardinal Leopold.

At this time of the ceremony, said Hobb to himself
DEUS MANUM DUCIT, the motto from soldiers and clerics of the Teutonic Order. The knight was proud of his brother Colar.

Bill listens intently to the words spoken, With a smile on his face looking to his dear friend and fellow townsman. Who worked hard for this to reach them. Something he can be proud.
