"Welcome to Rome - within your request form you mentioned your title as "Baroness of Askerton", I therefore expect you have an existing Coat of Arms corresponding to that. We would need to rightfully combine it with the personal Coat of Arms I will create for you, could you please provide it?"

I'm sorry, I can't. I don't have one. There is a great backlog of application for coat of arms in the English College of Heraldry going back for months. I simply didn't apply anymore. I also tried to search for existing sigils, seals or coats of arms from the archives but I found none. I am hoping the one I provided will do.

She listened to the words and frowned as within the rest of the known world no title could be granted without a Coat of Arms representing the fief. But England was different, not only in this regard. Keeping up a friendly smile she adressed the fellow sister again.

"Ok - I will pass that information to our work offices. There is another thing I want to talk about, you choose purple as a color you want to have used in your Coat of arms. It is a color that is currently used in exactly two current Coat of Arms and that we try to avoid as much as possible. The reasons are simple.

Imagine you receive finally the rightful Coat for your Barony - it will not contain purple and heraldry is a picture language that follows simple rules one of them is aesthetic. Matching and combining a Coat of Arms with purple with any other standard color combination will always cause to look...well.... hidious. Imagine your purple golden Coat of Arms matched with Red, Green or Blue.

I do not say we are not going to follow your request - I simply ask you to consider my reasons and tell me if you insist on purple."

Thus, here is the end product:

Meaning of the 3 colors:
The red wax is to be used for private correspondence.
The yellow wax is for administrative documents, such as a decree or a public newsletter/announcement.
The green wax is used for intemporel/timeless documents, such as a marriage or baptism certificate, treaties, and laws.

Thank you for your expert opinion and I appreciate your concern. I will choose blue then, rather than the purple that I originally requested. I am sure you will not allow anything to pass through this college that are below your standards.

Greetings!

I write you because of an embarrassing issue regarding the ecclestical seals and coat of arms of the Hungarian clerics. We had it and one day we didn't. I tried to search all the existing archives in Rome without any success.

So now I humbly ask you to help me finding the following persons' coat of arms and seals (mainly the seals as we are just now returning for our long absence and our coat of arms will not be very accurate):

- Eer_geloof (Eren)
- Renegade
- Rika0912
- Florencee
- Kiscsillag

If there will be no trace in the archives I will request new ones.

Thank you for your help.

Blessings,
Kiscsillag Vidigueira-Szapáry

Good evening,

I will ask his Eminence the Prefect if he has any idea were to look. It is normally the responsibility of the clergy and nobles to save copies of their coat of arms in their own archives since public archives are sometimes ransacked by unscrupulous weather.

But in the mean time, a request can be filled for each person with the required document at the entrance. Since I am gracious, I will provide a copy for you right now. Do not the warning on the bottom of the document, it is an important one.

I smile to Kiscsillag.
