One of the letters in his mail, was an invitation for the ceremony for the Translators. Alexei was, of course, aware of the day on the calendar, but in his years as translator he has never been to a ceremony for this day. The Feast for Saint Loyat, parton Saint of us Translators.

Wearing his official robes, the archbishop arrives at the Basilica and joins his brothers and sisters for the ceremony. He arrives there just before the Cardinal addresses the people and he listens with attention.

After receiving the invitation from the prefect, Lyssah - vice prefect of Frigidarium, the team of portuguese speaking translators - organized a caravan from Coimbra to the Basilica di San Giovanni dei Martiri.

Adonnis and Donnatela, the hard working translators who help Lyssah at the Frigidarium, came with her.

When they arrived, the first thing Lys pay attention is the beautiful decoration. After compliment a few people, including Jolieen, they find a place to settle dow.

It made her feel proud in a good way, to see how happy all the arriving translators were. Sometimes the smallest things showed the appreciation of the work that was done within the Villa of St.Loyat and to the redblond it was about time that the sense of unity within her prefecture would grow.

Greeting all those who arrived the eyes of the young bishop were glowing, deeply satisfied with the fact that the translators understood that this ceremony was ment not only for the patron Saint but formost for them. A distraction from what kept them busy day by day.

It was about time so she asked an acolyte to approach his Eminance that all was prepared and ready to get started.
She gave order to leave the doors slightly open as she was sure that some translators might still show up.

Amenediel avait reçu l'invitation de Monseigneur Jolieen, et comme à son habitude, il avait dit qu'il viendrait et même si sa charge de Vice Préfet Francophone l'y obligeait un peu, c'était un réel plaisir pour lui de venir assister à une messe.
Il n'y avait pas si longtemps que son père, et son feu son oncle l'avait traité de squatteur de cérémonie. Cela l'avait fait rire.
En arrivant dans la bâtisse, il put dans un premier temps en apprécier l'architecture et dans un second les décorations que Monseigneur avait sûrement dû demander de faire mettre en place.

Il avait un sourire sur le visage en remontant l'allée centrale de la nef. Arrivé à hauteur des premiers rangs, il s'agenouilla et fit le signe de croix avant d'aller rejoindre la place qui lui était attribué.

Le jeune prélat portait la simple robe des frères jésuites, certes un peu austère pour beaucoup. Mais pour lui en ce moment, il en appréciait la simplicité, cela lui changeait des ores et vastes des tenues qu'il devait arborer en tant que Duc de Lorraine.

Une fois à sa place il salua d'un petit signe de tête ses collègues, et un grand sourire s'afficha quand il aperçut Son Eminence Kalixtus. Quelques souvenirs lui revinrent, un jardin, des olives offertes, et une gentillesse débordante, voilà ce qu'il se rappelait de sa première rencontre avec l'homme.

Amenediel had received the invitation of Monseigneur Jolieen, and as usual, he had said that he would come and even if his position as vice-prefect Francophone obliged him a little, it was a real pleasure for him to come to assist at a mass.
Not so long ago as his father, and his late uncle had called him a ceremonial squatter. That made him laugh.
On arriving in the building, he was able at first to appreciate the architecture and in a second the decorations that Monseigneur had surely had to ask to put in place.

He had a smile on his face going up the aisle of the nave. Arriving at the top of the ranks, he knelt and made the sign of the cross before going to join the place which was attributed to him.

The young prelate wore the simple dress of the Jesuit brothers, certainly a little austere for many. But for him at the moment, he appreciated the simplicity, it changed him ores and vast outfits he had to wear as Duke of Lorraine.

Once in his place, he greeted his colleagues with a nod, and a big smile appeared when he saw his Eminence Kalixtus. A few memories came back to him, a garden, olives offered, and an overflowing kindness, that's what he remembered from his first meeting with the man.

Bio je to veliki dan za sve one koji su radili pod zaštitom svetoga Loyata. Krasoljub je kopčao svoju dugmat na svečanoj odjeći te popravljao kragnu pred ogledalom.
„Izgleda fino.“
Izavši u dvorište bazilike gledao je kolone ljudi kako pristižu u baziliku San Giovanni dei Martiri.
Pridružiio se braći svećenika, koje je ugodno pozdravio, među kojima je ugledao i Perfekta Ville Saint Loyal, bishop Caillen Jolieen MacKinnon Rose, od koje je i dobio poziv za sudjelovanje na ovoj ceremoniji slavlja.

Ušli su u baziliku koja je bila bogato ukrašena, sa mnoštvom cvijeća i svijeća čiji je plamen simbolizirao jačinu vjere prisutnih. Njegova Eminencija Kalixtus i Ekselencija MacKinon su predvodili svećenike koji su sjeli na prethodno obilježena mjesta.

It was a great day for all those who worked under the protection of Saint Loyat . Krasoljub clutched his knobs on the festive dress and repaired the collar in front of the mirror.

Kalixtus smiled at Jolieen and then nodded. He gave the signal that the entry would now happen and the choir was singing from Guillaume Dufay - Missa L'Homme Armé, the bells stopped ringing and this was the magic keyword:

Two altar boys went forward and each carried a large candle they symbolized Christos and Aristotle - prophets and lightbringer for mankind.
Behind the two went an altar boy with the Thuribulum from whose swivelled barrel the incense smoked and covered the church with sacred scents.
Two other altar boys followed, each carrying a torch in their hands - beacons of faith that can drive away all darkness.
Behind them then the last altar boy carrying the Aristotelian cross on a long pole. The union of the prophets and inseparable union to the only true faith.

Kalixtus stepped behind the altar boys and lifted up the Book of Virtues. The sacred Inalienable Dogma of the Roman Aristotelian Church.
He walked through the central aisle and showed it to the faithful of the eastern side aisle and then to those of the western side aisle on half the way.
Below the altar he bowed and with him the altar boys.

The two candles of the prophets stood now together with the altar boys behind the altar and the two torch bearers beside the altar.
Kalixtus indeed laid the book on the altar kissed the binding, crossed himself and said: E nomine Deus et Prophetae Christos et Aristotle. Amen!

Then he took the Thuribulum swung the same around the altar a symbol of continuous consecration at the holiest point of the church.
As to be expected with Kalixtus, he began this day of joy with heavenly music.

The translation service is regarded worldwide as one of the most important human services and the translation service of the Church is undoubtedly of high quality in its meaning. It is precisely here that the dogma of our Holy Mother Church is made alive and tangible not only for priests and clergymen but for the people themselves, who can come to understand the truth and essence of God in their own language, and thus also the mission to live and preach the love and friendship that God has imposed upon us human beings, to use it towards God, our beloved Father, and towards His creation. This work is your work and we want to honor it and pray together for it:


Pray, beloved aristotelian brothers, for the Holy Roman Church:

Il écouta la suite et lorsque Kalixtus termina sa lecture, le jeune prêtre prononça un amen avec humilité.

Kalixtus let the choir sing a suitable intermediate piece the "Salve Mater Misericordiae": This allowed him to climb up the pulpit and from up there he looked at the faithful of the congregation. He smiled gently and raised his staff to draw attention.
Today we celebrate St. Loyats, the patron saint of the translators, one of the few Saints of England, a Saint from the time after the renewal of the faith. What a miraculous and beautiful testimony this man has given to his faithful and to the whole Church is illustrated in the following text from his hagiography - it will serve as a lecture for us today on his memorial day.





Citation:

The Miracle of the Fish When Father Loyats first came to the town of Canterbury to serve as priest, he realized that the fishermen of the town were in dire straights. Being a fisherman himself, Loyats was very concerned with their plight. The fisherman set out each morning in their boats, or stood on the shores with their lines, however, the fisherman returned each day empty handed. The fisherman of Canterbury could not support themselves, having nothing to show for their daily labours. The people of Canterbury suffered with no fish to eat and strengthen their minds. Father Loyats immediately prayed to Jah, and that night as he slept he had a vision. In his vision he sailed out into the sea. The boat was steered, not by his own oars, but by a divine hand. When the boat stopped Loyats saw schools of fish swimming below his boat. The next day Father Loyats himself led the fisherman of Canterbury out into the sea to the place that he had seen in his vision. And indeed, that day more fish were caught than ever before by the men and women of that town. Because of Father Loyats' miraculous vision, the fisherman of Canterbury were now able to feed themselves and still have fish left over for sale. The Order of St. Jerome At this time in England, there was little structure to the Aristotlian Church. Loyats recognized the need to organize the Church early on. Father Loyats organized the first religious order in England, the Order of St. Jerome. This order was tasked with translating, and bring Church doctrine to the citizens of England. Father Loyats himself was personally responsible for releasing countless documents to the English faithful. He brought the dogmatical works to English soil as well as the Canon Law, and the sacraments. And it was because of his order that works are still being translating and presented onto the English faithful.



Kalixtus ended the reading and raised his hands for prayer.

She had taken her place following the speach of the cardinal with pleasure as for her it was most important that all of the translators that were sacrificing their time for the work done within the Villa were reminded about the importance of their doings as the daily rotinue might let them forget about it.

The bishop joined the prayer with her clear and warm voice.

Kalixtus smiled from the pulpit and then began his sermon.

Fear of God sounds martial in our eyes and in his way it would probably be true, but in truth the term fear of God is only a shortening it means God's reverence. It is not the unconditional submission to a mighty enemy who came to conquer us. It is reverence, it is worship, and it is without question love - fear of God is love, and whoever lives in love lives with God.
God, as we know, has missions for his children, tasks that we have set out to accomplish in our lives. Professions and abilities that sharpen our character and influence our life - also what we think and what we are.
Father Loyats was a fisherman, as was the great Apostle Titus, whose grave rests only a few streets from here under his consecrated cathedral. The Rock of the Church, which remained humble throughout his life and was the first Pope to lead our young Church. Loyats knew about this modesty and how important it is to the Church, which despite its wealth is above all rich in knowledge and wisdom. Rich in catechetical content, rich in believers who put their lives at the service of God. Rich in people who contribute to the glory of God and the spreading of the Good News. People like you who have gathered here today to honour the man who began this important task for the dioceses in England and whose nature has spread, whose ideas and ideals bring us all together today in the centre of Rome. If Loyats had been prophesied, he probably would have been very shy and irritated, but his unfailing work, his perseverance and also the miracle of the fisherman call him a Saint, who would nevertheless have pleased the Apostle Titus or Samoth, who in turn became disciples of Christos as fishermen. The work of the Order today is the work of the Villa our task in this world is to reach out to the people. To touch their hearts and save their souls. It is people like you who do their service for this. The CDF in its catechetical mission is the center of these efforts our mission is the mission of God - the first and most distinguished mission that our Church possesses. It is up to us to make the truth accessible by spreading it into the world like the Spirit of God. Translations done here in the Villa are used today in far away Portugal, in windy Scotland, on the coasts of the Netherlands, in the mountains of the Alps, on the coasts of the Adriatic and the Aegean, the Caucasus. You can hear the work of these people in the deserts of the Sahara, under the pyramids of Egypt and the desolate wastelands of the Ottoman Empire, as well as in the Holy Land of Jerusalem.

Be aware of this at this very moment. Your work is to ensure this, the fuel that keeps the Church alive and makes it a World Church. We have to dedicate ourselves to this responsibility with modesty like St. Loyats. Modesty and zeal for work, because when we stall, when we stand, then the whole Church stands.

We must not despair and never fail, for may all the storms come upon us and all the calamities upon the Church collapse - in the end the Word of God remains as an inalienable dogma for eternity and it is precisely this aspiration that we must have - for eternity.

Dear brothers and sisters, let us confess our faith as the Church teaches us through the presence of our prophet Aristotle and Christos in honor of God the Almighty Father:
