Vos paroles me touchent.

    — Credo in Deum,
    Altissimum Omnipotentem,
    Creatorem caeli et terrae,
    Inferos et paradisi,
    Ultima hora animae judicem nostrae

    Et in Aristotelem, prophetam,
    Nicomaqui Phaetique filium,
    Missum ut sapientiam et universi
    Divas leges errantibus hominibus erudiret

    Credo etiam in Christum,
    Natum ex Maria et Ioseph,
Vitam dedit ut nobis paradisi viam monstraret
Sic, postquam sub Pontio passus est
    Propter salutem
    Nostram martyr perivit
    Consecutus est Solem
Ubi Aristoteles ad Altissimi dexteram eum expectabat

    Credo in Divinam Actionem,
Sanctam Ecclesiam aristotelicianam, romanam, unam et indivisibilem
    Sanctorum communionem,
    Peccatorum remissionem,
    Carnis resurrectionem
    Vitam aeternam.

    AMEN

-------

He listened to its uncle. It was necessary acknowledged that the history and the experiment of the blind man interested it particularly. Royal offices with the royal confessional, he had managed to carry out a life rich in events and training. He had mixed with largest like fire King Nicolas, from there, he had climbed the levels of the priesthood until reaching the highest load. He did not have thus to redden of his course because he would inspire many men. These words would have almost touched it if its pride did not prevail.
    — It would be an honor to be able to meet the primacy and will know that I take to your advices with much consideration my uncle. Your words touch me.

During this time, Alexandre finished dressing it, posing the mitre cardinalice to him in order to finalize the behaviour which it was going to raise for the occasion. The ceremony was going soon to start and the prelate was to hurry. He encasing the step, it taken the way of the furnace bridge, vergers strewing the smoke holy and crowned in their wake. Their race was stopped soon when Camerlingue was presented to them. Alexandre had never met the Cardinal-Constable before and that marked a great innovation at his place. Unfortunately, this one granted only very little attention to him, having surely taken it for a verger. It was rather comprehensible since, like known as before, it had never met. The blind man quickly presented it, and it is the hands crossed under its cassock that the Azayes young person have a shaking of head of most respectful.
    — It is a real pleasure of meeting you, your Eminence. I request so that your mandate is profitable and perennial. I am assured that you will know carry our Church as it should be.

Then, it turned in its turn to the assembly, being placed at with dimensions of his uncle whereas it announced the beginning of the ceremony. And as it would have to suspect it, it was accompanied by a recitation by the creed.
    — Creed in Deum,
    Altissimum Omnipotentem,
    Creatorem caeli and terrae,
    Inferos and paradisi,
Ultima will hora animae judicem nostrae

    And in Aristotelem, prophetam,
    Nicomaqui Phaetique filium,
    Missum C sapientiam and universi
    Light divas errantibus hominibus erudiret

    Creed etiam in Christum,
    Natum ex Maria and Ioseph,
Vitam denies C nobis paradisi viam monstraret
Sic, postquam sub Pontio passus is
    Propter salutem
    Nostram martyr perivit
    Consecutus is Solem
Ubi Aristoteles AD Altissimi dexteram eum expectabat

    Creed in Divinam Actionem,
Sanctam Ecclesiam aristotelicianam, romanam, unam and indivisibilem
    Sanctorum communionem,
    Peccatorum remissionem,
    Carnis resurrectionem
    Vitam aeternam.

    AMEN

It waited then for the continuation of the ceremony.

Be thanked in advance for your prayers, dear brother. May the Almighty hear you. It will be important to tell the truth, and not to take anyone for a pear. But I am confident, so I'll try to do the maximum. The icing on the cake will be for me to finish my mandate having completed all my projects, God willing.

He smiled that fruity dialogue with his cousin, before turning to the young man who accompanied the Grand Inquisitor.

Ah! Here is the young Azayes who Arnault told me. We are ourselves distant relatives, since you are aware that our families are related. The Church always needs sharpened minds and workers' arms, so you're welcome. From who are you son?

The blind cardinal already was beginning the credo. Tiberius collected himself reciting turn the holy words, savoring this moment of collective communion.

Credo in Deum,
Altissimum Omnipotentem,
Creatorem caeli et terrae,
Inferos et paradisi,
Ultima hora animae judicem nostrae

Usually he sings in English, but here in Rome the Credo is sang in Latin. Vanyar enjoys singing in that old language.

Each six months, a new Camerlengo was elected. And while His Holiness, Christos' Vicar in Earth, sat down in his papal throne, dealing more with godly than terrenal affairs, the Camerlengo ruled the Curia in His name. To the ones who studied the history of the Church since the ancient times, it was incredible the protagonical role that the Camerlengo had over the last years.

Maybe, one day, God would allow the cardinals to vote between themselves a Pope, instead of waiting for elections that resulted a miracle: the hand of the Almigthy was clear in those decisions, as suprising candidates emerged from the last Conclaves. Until that moment, they will have a Camerlengo.

And this time it was Rehael's the cardinal elected, the Chancellor of the Holy Armies. The franciscan surely would guide the church with wisdom and humility, attributions of his Order. Nicolás was wondering about all of that, while he watched the ceremony. In his black clothes, he took his places as elector cardinal in the basilica, and stared at the ceremony's protagonists....

...and when the time came, he prayed with fervour:

-Credo in Deum,
Altissimum Omnipotentem,
Creatorem caeli et terrae,
Inferos et paradisi,
Ultima hora animae judicem nostrae

Et in Aristotelem, prophetam,
Nicomaqui Phaetique filium,

Whereas the ode with the Creed had just finished, it was time that the timed course of the ceremony continues. Azayes had been requested by his/her uncle to start two readings. Well little with the current of what went arrived from the days later to his/her uncle, it for the time being had, to be used to him for the reading of the Holy Scriptures. In a flat and divine calm, Azayes moved towards the marble desk where was laid out the texts studied during this establishment. Voice engraves which characterized it enough, the prelate started the first passage which was going to mark this ceremony.

“— Extracts of the Hagiography of Saint Nicolaîde named also “Brother Nico”. ” It marks a long pause before starting the account, consequently profiting to mark its speech by some theatrical intonations. — Savage partisan of a reflected faith, Brother Nico opposed a more intuitive vision of the divine word. Following the Vatican council first, he preached a transcendence by the reason and endeavoured to make share this vision by the greatest number. It was seen that and there to explain to each and everyone which the petrol of the things is in the things themselves. He searched the real nature of the universe, by the means of the metaphysics, which he described as science of being as being. But he did not scorn any therefore the elements of the everyday life. Thus, he worked on the beauty, and concludes that it resulted from certain proportions and certain measurements and harmonious rhythms. For him, religion and daily newspaper did only one, as recommended it as the wise participle to the life of the city. ” New stop, marking the reading before continuing. “— Brother Nico humbly lived its faith in the divine word. Far from the attraction of the titles and taste of the power, he took pleasure in helping his next, lavishing grinds advices on the best manner of living with the daily newspaper. He advised the vagrants and peasants on art and the manner of saving the fruits of their labour while living in the virtue. The holiness of brother Nico was translated in his action by its perpetual will to alleviate the tensions and to not solve the problems by the force but by wisdom. ”

From a slow movement, characteristic of the official ceremonies, it came to become acquainted with the second text, carrying this time Ci on the Hagiography of one of the disciples of Christos, Nikolos.

“— Extract of the Hagiography of Nikolos, apostle of Christos. Chapter 5 - Where Christos teaches in Nikolos which the priests should lend oath to nobody -” Reading of very another content but not less important. “— One day that Christos and its disciples arrived at Séphora, Nikolos began one of its sentences with: “Main, tell us…” before this one does not stop it. Christos tells him then: “I should not be called Master, because we have one Master who is God, and through him Our Church which is the faithful interpreter of its thoughts and whose decisions must be respected by all its clerks. But which men would we be, if we must recognize other Masters that God and his Church? God gave us freedom, it is not so that we alienated it with others. Do you think of what would occur if, by misfortune, a priest had suddenly done any oath of fidelity to another man? At once, he would become the man of this man, his servant, the servant of private interests and either the servant of God. The men of God, my brothers, depend only on him, have of account to return only to him, and whoever requires an oath of them only seeks to place the Church under its dependence and to make obliged men of God its. However, which people would still have faith into cubes men of God dependent with other men and not on God himself? We would sow, by these practices, seeds of the doubt and the unbelief. Also, I tell you, my brothers, everywhere, in any time, refuse the oaths which one could claim to make you lend, because they are average of domination of the Church by the laic ones and pollution of the divine ideas by the terrestrial ideas. In the same way, if, as you recommends it large Aristote, you must socially mix you with the business of the City, you keep to make there of the policy, because the policy is only human business or reign very often corruption and the private interests, and you would be likely to soil the Holy name of the Church there”. ”

From there, it withdrew desk, leaving the continuation of the office to the hands of the Cardinals.
