Il Vicario Generale di Milano aveva ricevuto l'invito a partecipare alla cerimonia e anche se conosceva da poco il fratello del Cardinale, lo aveva trovato molto simpatico ed era nata subito una bella amicizia.
Il viaggio era stato lungo, ma era valso ogni attimo.
Roma era una città magnifica lei aveva viaggiato affacciata al finestrino della carrozza, stupendosi di tanta magnificenza.
La carrozza si era fermata davanti alla Basilica.
Scese alzò lo sguardo per ammirarne la bellezza e a passo svelto entrò.
La cerimonia aveva appena avuto inizio si incamminò lungo la navata e da dietro riconobbe Monsignora Azzurra.. le si sedette accanto sorridendole e recitò la prima preghiera

Ricevuto l'invito, i Montefeltro avevano organizzato il viaggio a Roma in modo da poterla visitare con calma.
La loro carrozza arrivò il giorno prima ed ebbero il tempo di ammirare la Città eterna in tutto il suo splendore.
Dopo un bagno rigenerante, Althea scelse per la cerimonia un lungo abito nero rifinito con passamanerie dorate.
Raccolse i capelli in una morbida treccia, non indossò gioielli vistosi in quel periodo di lutto imperiale.
Quando furono pronti, si diressero alla Basilica di San Origène sulla via Appia.

Era arrivata a Roma con la famiglia ed essendo per lei il primo viaggio in quella splendida città era felicissima di aver avuto il tempo di visitarla prima della cerimonia.
Dopo essersi preparata con un bel vestito che sua Madre le aveva confezionato per l'evento, si diressero alla Basilica di San Origène sulla via Appia, entrarono e si accomodarono, la cerimonia stava giusto per iniziare e nell'aria si sentiva il coro

Guardandosi intorno vide poco più avanti il suo amico Massimo Valerio e pensò che dovesse essere molto emozionato, lei lo sarebbe stata di sicuro, poi vide il vicario Generale del Patriarcato di Venezia Mons. M.Azzurra De' Giustiniani Borgia che era stata sua insegnante all'Abbazia Cistercense di Fornovo, avrebbe voluto far loro un cenno di saluto, ma si trattenne perchè c'era nell'aria un'atmosfera solenne e si ripromettè di avvicinarli dopo la cerimonia.

Carissimi fedeli, voglio che riflettiamo in particolar modo su una frase della lettura che avete da poco ascoltato:

"Tito, amico mio, avvicinati. Tito, tu sei forte e vigoroso. Mi puoi aiutare nel portare avanti questa comunità; tu sarai il mio secondo. Ora Tito, tu sei un titano, ed è con l'aiuto della tua forza che costruirò una Chiesa titanica!"

Ecco, oggi questa Chiesa titanica è realtà.
L'Aristotelismo seppur a volte è avvolto dalla tenebra, è presente in tutte le terre conosciute. Spende la luce anche nei luoghi più nascosti. Oggi, qui a Roma, dove vi è il centro dell'Aristotelismo sentiamo ancora più grande questa forza.
Ad una dimensione più spirituale si unisce però anche una dimensione più terrena.
La nostra Chiesa è grande anche territorialmente, con gli Stati Pontifici che la costituiscono. Io, Cardinale Governatore sul Ducato di Perugia sono vassallo del Papa, governatore di un pezzo di quello Stato Pontificio che oggi fa la nostra Chiesa grande. Proprio come Christos scelse Tito come secondo per il governo della Chiesa, io scelgo mio fratello Valerio Massimo <V> come mio scudiero. Perchè insieme ci sia concesso di fare grande questa nostra Chiesa titanica.

Finita l'omelia disse:

Mai frase fu tanto azzeccata, penso tra se e se, in una cerimonia che raccoglieva sotto un'unica sacra volta persone diverse “fraternamente” riunite per presenziare all’investitura di una persona che a suo modo aveva dato molto alla città di Modena.

Aveva conosciuto Massimo Valerio quando da sindaco della capitale si trovò in più di qualche occasione a collaborare con lui nel reperire i cereali, o la frutta, necessari al Ducato dimostrando sempre disponibilità e voglia di aiutare, atteggiamento che ha sempre tenuto poi nel tempo e che l’ha portato oggi a divenire uno Scudiero dell'Ordine Equestre della Nobiltà Pontificia.

Ad un certo punto la voce del Cardinale richiamò nuovamente la sua attenzione; stava per iniziare la vera e propria investitura.
