Sottobraccio al marito si incamminarono per entrare nella Cappella.

Christian era sulla carrozza insieme alla madre Beatrice e al Cognato Angelo che si dirigeva verso Roma per prendere parte alla cerimonia.

Si era vestito come suo solito di un bel verde smeraldo.
La giacca aveva ricamato a mano in filo d'oro il suo stemma personale, al fianco aveva la sua fida spada di acciaio di Damasco con l'elsa riccamente ornata con smeraldi e oro. Al collo portava una collana di oro e smeraldi molto grossa che gli cadeva fino a metà del petto.

Strizzò l'occhio a Sparta, e ad altri conoscenti . infilandosi poi nel banco dedicato ai Cardinali.
Rimase poi in silenzio attendendo l'inizio della cerimonia.
