LucvanMoer took his candle and thanked Jolieen for taking care of her. Then he lifted the candle up as a symbol that the light of the divine faith was fully shining in his life and at the same time as a symbol that he would lead others along the path of God's truth.

Addressing Jolieen:

May the Most High help you in this new mission and as these candles illuminate the night we pray that you may help the word of Aristotle to bring light to the faith of these new brothers.

The Cardinal opened the Book of Virtues and read a passage:

From the end of time:
"I asked him again: "Baptism is the sacrament that sanctions the entry of a man into the community of believers. Without it, there is no possibility of access to Paradise. But what about the poor children whose lives end before they have the possibility of being baptized?
He replied, "I made you chosen at your birth, for you tend to Me naturally. It is your sins that drive you away from My divine perfection.
"Baptism allows virtue to redeem sin, it allows love to overcome acedia. An unbaptized virtuoso will not see his mistakes erased, for I have not blessed his entry into the community of My faithful.
But do not believe that the fact of being baptized authorizes you to sin without shame.

Afterwards, he turned to Lucvanmoer and Pawcio:

Now touch the Holy Water, this clear water will wash all your guilt, purifying your soul.

LucvanMoer walked slowly, dipped his finger in the holy water, then crossed the sign of the cross first on the forehead, as a symbol of purifying the mind, then on the lips as a symbol of purifying speech, and finally on the heart as a symbol of purifying the soul.

Pawcio took holy water and made a sign to symbolically cleanse the soul of sins.

[Gropius]

He wet LucvanMoer's head, saying:

LucvanMoer, with this water I baptize you, in the name of the Aristotelian Church and of the Most High, thanks to the intercession of the Saints and to Divine Love.
You are now part of the Community of the Living, because in your heart is certain the promise of eternal life.
Amen.

He then took the Aristotelian medal and gave it to him.

I give you the seal by which you will be recognized by the people as a faithful Aristotelian.




Then he wet Pawcio's head, saying:

La Basilica risplendeva degli accesi colori dei fiori di stagione: amaryllis, ranuncoli, narcisi. Doppie file di candele illuminavano la navata centrale dove era stato svolto un lungo tappeto rosso, dall'ingresso fino all'altare maggiore.

Le statue dei Padri della Chiesa osservavano ammonitrici i fedeli, mentre il Cardinale Decano del Sacro Collegio e Prelato Plenipotenziario, Arduino Della Scala, attendeva l'arrivo della futura presbitera.

Sharon era estremamente emozionata. Anche se ancora molto c'era da fare, lungo era stato il suo percorso per arrivare a quel momento, e finalmente era giunto; la sua vita al servizio dell'Altissimo iniziava proprio in quel giorno.

Mentre l'ingresso della Basilica s'avvicinava, Sharon ripensò a tutto quel che aveva fatto per quel giorno.. Aveva indossato per quel poco che possedeva, il suo vestito migliore; cercò di sistemarsi al meglio nonostante lavorasse spesso nei campi e non si trovasse nella sua forma migliore ma tutti quei pensieri furono interrotti quando le porte del Sacro luogo di aprirono.

C'erano parecchie persone quel giorno, una lunga fila di fiori, colori ed odori sprigionavano lungo la navata centrale che conduceva all'altare maggiore e, proprio laggiù, svettava la figura del Cardinale Decano che l'attendeva.

Sharon aveva fino a quel momento un'aria trepidante, non era mai stata in un luogo così imponente e pieno di persone come quello. Cercò di farsi coraggio ed avanzare con passo calmo ma deciso verso il Cardinale.

Quando il Cardinale vide Sharon farsi innanzi, allargò le braccia e la salutò benedicendola. Poi, le disse con voce stentorea:

Sharon, sei qui, supplice, a richiedere d'essere ammessa nella Santa Chiesa Aristotelica per servire il Dio con tutta te stessa?

Parlò all'assemblea dei fedeli:

Gioite, voi che siete qui riuniti in questo momento di gioia che segna l'ingresso di Sharon detta LadySharon nella Santa Chiesa Aristotelica Romana e Universale. Da oggi la Chiesa avrà un nuovo ministro per diffondere la sacra parola.

Aprì il Libro delle Virtù e lesse con voce stentorea:

I fedeli del Dio, quelli che hanno appreso l'insegnamento d'Aristotele e che vogliono seguire il cammino che per voi io traccio, dovranno formare una comunità di vita.
Questa comunità troverà il suo senso, e permetterà a ciascuno di vivere nella virtù, solo se sarà unita nell'amicizia reciproca che ciascuno dei suoi membri dovrà dimostrare nei confronti degli altri.
Per guidarvi, io sarò il padre di questa comunità, ne stabilirò i principi e i miei successori faranno lo stesso dopo di me.

Parola del Secondo Profeta

Si avvicinò, così a LadySharon e disse:

Ora sorella Sharon se vuoi tu entrare a far parte della Santa Chiesa, unica guida dell'umanità in questo mondo sublunare, come intendi dimostrare il tuo amore verso di Lei?

Sharon era inginocchiata ed alla domanda di Sua Eminenza, alzò il volto e rispose:

Eminenza, viviamo tempi difficili in cui gli uomini hanno dimenticato cosa sia la virtù. Fece una pausa poi riprese.. Sono diventati gelosi e possessivi come se tutto gli appartenesse! Spero, se ne avrò la possibilità e come loro pastore, di ricondurli a Dio perchè egli è misericordioso e saprà perdonarli se dimostreranno di avere buona volontà.

Poi abbassò di nuovo la testa per un istante, dopodichè riprese


Io faccio voto, con tutto il mio cuore e la mia anima, dinnanzi all'Onnipotente, all'Assemblea dei Santi, alla Comunità dei Fedeli, di non non portare armi da combattimento, allo scopo di offendere con violenza i miei fratelli, per essere testimone di pace e di amicizia nell società umana.

Io faccio voto, con tutto il mio cuore e la mia anima, dinnanzi all'Onnipotente, all'Assemblea dei Santi, alla Comunità dei Fedeli, di aderire con ogni mio atto, parola e pensiero ai precetti del Dogma Aristotelico e del Diritto Canonico, sotto la guida del mio Vescovo, della Curia e del Papa.
Di obbedire fedelmente ai padri della Chiesa Aristotelica che mi sono superiori secondo il diritto canonico.

Io faccio voto, con tutto il mio cuore e la mia anima, dinnanzi all'Onnipotente, all'Assemblea dei Santi, alla Comunità dei Fedeli, a seguire una condotta di vita esemplare, disprezzando i beni temporali a vantaggio di quelli spirituali,
accrescendo, con lo studio e la preghiera, la mia fede in Aristotele e nel Secondo Profeta, per essere un modello e una guida verso coloro che mi verranno affidati.
Io faccio voto, con tutto il mio cuore e la mia anima, dinnanzi all'Onnipotente, all'Assemblea dei Santi, alla Comunità dei Fedeli, di donarmi interamente alla Chiesa Aristotelica. Nè famiglia, partito o fazione avranno più peso nella mia vita.
Io oggi cesso d'essere donna e, senza più volto, nome e bene che mi sia proprio, divengo la Chiesa. Faccio voto di rispettare sopra tutto il Celibato che ivi è prescritto. La mia famiglia ora è la Chiesa, i fedeli sono i miei Figli, i miei pari sono i miei Fratelli, i miei superiori i miei Padri.


Terminato di pronunciare i voti, attese il Cardinale

Siano questi tuoi quattro voti tuoi voti scolpiti nel tuo cuore; immagine dei quattro elementi che hanno forgiato le terra, essi ti renderanno una donna nuova e più degna. Fino a quando li rispetterai la tua vita apparterrà a Dio. Sciagura colga chi tenti di deviarti dai tuoi propositi.

Dopo aver pronunciato queste parole fece cenno a Sharon di inginocchiarsi di fronte a lui.
