Corals and Jellyfish

Come with me into the deep sea
we seek the strangest fruits in the world
let's try to understand the challenge together
of the Medusa that shows itself and does not trust

She knows she is beautiful, delicate and transparent
you see it all, it seems to hide nothing
but who loved her and gave her his life
he was in too much of a hurry and burned his fingers

Coral has been sleeping on the bottom for millennia
someone says that he was the one
who chased her in love among the waves
now it is stone as everyone is made of stone

the grieving hearts of imaginary lovers
they are at the bottom hidden by dark seas
defeated and vanquished by an evanescent love
of the whole sea they no longer love anything

Coralli e Meduse

The lights of the sea

The depths of strange creatures shine
the brightest are the jellyfish
transparent like purest gems
romantic sailors are muses

Tentacles instead of armor
drive away the dull creatures
leaving them free and safe
among these dark and confused waters

I am the light in the deep blue
tremendous lights never to be touched
so beautiful yet so fatal

Why are the abyssal funds
beautiful to admire, but staying there is trouble
they know how to swallow the whole world

Le luci del mare

Brillan gli abissi di strane creature
le più luminose son le meduse
trasparenti come gemme più pure
dei romantici marinai son muse

Tentacoli al posto d'armature
allontanan le creature ottuse
lasciandole libere e sicure
tra queste acque scure e confuse

Sono la luce nel blu profondo
tremendi lumi da non toccar mai
così belle eppur tanto fatali

Perchè così sono i fondi abissali
belli d'ammirar, ma a starci son guai
sanno inghiottire l'intero mondo

The sound of the sea

It was once believed that the sea had no voice, a distant time certain, before a galley, which left Livorno, did not finish the journey, with all its cargo, in the depths along the northern coasts of Africa.
From that moment on, something extraordinary happened.
Lavinia, this was the name they had given her, loved being touched by anyone who wanted to hold her in his arms, for a minute or an hour.
From her depended the dances of the colorful fish among the red jewels of the sea, the races in the green algae and the leaps of the dolphins out of the water.
Everything then happened following the sound of his voice vibrating in the dark waters of the abyss.
The melodious voice was like the wind in the waves, it blew between the inlets, it changed direction.
The calm, warm currents when they met it rocked the fins of the fish and tickled their gills; instead the cold and turbulent currents took quick turns around themselves, eddies and eddies of passion that often enclosed schools of luminous, motionless fish ... abandoned to its mercy.
Not everyone was good with her, not everyone was able to make her express, but everyone did what he wanted with her: some wanted her sweet and bewitching, others took her with indomitable strength, so much so that it hurt the strings of the soul.
The only one who followed her body and who seemed to be one with her was Oceania; to see them together was to hear love speak and whisper to the inhabitants of the sea "come near, fear not".
Like all things, however, love also has an enemy, a pitfall: envy.
Pacifico had tried over and over again to approach Lavinia, but he couldn't get her to express it in a way that would attract some floating being nearby.
In anger he broke two of the four strings he had, and when he returned it to Oceania he smiled mockingly at her, convinced that not even she could play it anymore.
Yet it was not so, Oceania loved the music produced with Lavinia so much, that she managed to impose it on the silence of the sea bed in which she lay, using only the remaining strings.

Open eyes

Swimming with your eyes open
the sea reveals me
all the mysteries
of his magical world.

The minnows chase each other
touching my face.
Bottom algae
as light as feathers
they bow to the waves.

The shells
while waiting
that pearls are born
they hatch to feed
and then close again
and sleep.

Tireless
will be the eyes
than greedily
they will scan the depths.
They will impress in the soul
every little discovery
every life
of this mine
beautiful sea.

Occhi aperti

Nuotando ad occhi aperti
il mare mi svela
tutti i misteri
del suo magico mondo.

I pesciolini si rincorrono
sfiorandomi il viso.
Le alghe del fondo
leggere come piume
si inchinano alle onde.

Le conchiglie
nell'attesa
che nascano le perle
si schiudono per nutrirsi
per poi richiudersi
e dormire.

Instancabili
saranno gli occhi
che avidamente
scruteranno il profondo.
Imprimeranno nell'anima
ogni piccola scoperta
ogni vita
di questo mio
splendido mare.

Les yeux ouverts

Nager les yeux ouverts
la mer me révèle
tous les mystères
de son monde magique.

Les vairons se poursuivent
toucher mon visage.
Algues de fond
aussi léger que des plumes
ils s'inclinent devant les flots.

Les coquillages
en attendant
que les perles naissent
ils éclosent pour se nourrir
puis refermer
et dormir.

Infatigable
seront les yeux
qu'avec avidité
ils scruteront les profondeurs.
Ils impressionneront dans l'âme
chaque petite découverte

Offenen Augen

Mit offenen Augen schwimmen
Das Meer offenbart mich
alle Geheimnisse

Die Elritzen jagen sich gegenseitig
mein Gesicht berühren.
Untere Algen
so leicht wie Federn
Sie beugen sich vor den Wellen.

Die Muscheln
beim Warten
dass Perlen geboren werden
sie schlüpfen, um zu füttern
und dann wieder schließen
und Schlaf.

Unermüdlich
werden die Augen sein
als gierig
Sie werden die Tiefen scannen.
Sie werden in die Seele einprägen
jede kleine Entdeckung

The Galleon

In the boundless sea abyss
a Spanish galleon sunk
carried superfine goods in the hold
many precious fabrics, many horsehair.

Everything sinking was lost
wealth grabbed and never re-emerged
from everyone: fish, squid and mermaids
whoever his treasure withholds

Algae and jellyfish will make a den for us
and they will invite a few frogfish
to have breakfast in the morning

And swim around the galleon
they will dance lightly among the corals
throwing reflections like crystals.

Il Galeone

Nell'abisso marino sconfinato
un galeone spagnolo è affondato
portava in stiva merci sopraffine
tante stoffe preziose, molte crine.

Ogni cosa affondando è andata persa
ricchezza arraffata e mai più emersa
da tutti: i pesci,calamari e sirene
chiunque il suo tesoro si trattiene

Alghe e meduse ci faran la tana
e inviteranno quache pesce rana
per fare al mattino colazione

E nuotare intorno al galeone
danzeranno leggere tra i coralli
lanciando riflessi come cristalli.

viele kostbare Stoffe, viel Rosshaar.
