Some time ago, as Ivanne I, "la Louve de Castille" ruled over her nine Kingdoms, Rome granted her a Palazzetto in the Campo di Marzio. The rione, probably the most populous at its time, had become a popular place, due to it's situation, close to the upper course of the river and the Vatican itself. Despite her faith, the Queen accepted the gift and decided Sisto would serve as headquarters for the Castillian Diplomatic Corps.


The wanderer will find a u-shaped facade, decorated with fresh murals. Beyond the gates, a statue of the Archangel Michael, saint patron of Castille-Leon, welcomed the visitor with his flaming sword defeating the Nameless Creature. The statue, crafted by Xacobo da Lúa, the first Ambassador to use the Palazzetto as his roman residence, was given as a present to the Embassy.

The Archangel seemed to protect the staircase. At the top, two portraits watched closely anyone who was allowed to access the private rooms of the Embassy. One of them despicted Queen Ivanne, first holder of the Palazzetto. The other despicted the reigning King. At the moment, it was King Daniel I's portrait.

Beyond the portraits, a corridor led to the private chambers, including the Royal Ambassador's Office. Be those who come with noble intentions welcome to Sisto, and those who hold despicion within be damned.
