Monsignor Vanyar, I appreciate your warm welcome. I am truly eager to offer my dedicated service to the Church. If, for any reason, my assistance is not required in the Church, I am more than willing to explore other avenues where I can be of service. Thank you.

I assure you, brother Gnarus, your offer for assistance and service within our Church is most appreciated, wanted and even needed. It will not come as a surprise to you that we are currently short staffed on the British Islands. That is why it is taking a little bit longer for me to get things sorted. It would be my wish that a bishop from the British Islands would be the one to ordain you into the priesthood. Unfortunately we have nobody in Ireland at this moment to perform this sacrament. I have asked permission for one of us three to perform this. But that permission has not yet been granted. For instance I have permission to perform all sacraments anywhere in Scotland. Usually a Bishop can only do so in his own diocese.

If you have no preference on who will ordain you, then we could also ask a available Cardinal to perform the sacrament here in Rome. But maybe it has your preference too to have this done on your native soil?

There are two crucial aspects I'd like to address. Firstly, my request was to see if the Church of the British Isles needed my services and which service was being offered. I have all the necessary arrangements in place, and I'm ready to meet with the count's secretary to fulfil my financial obligations to embark on the path of scholarship. My way would depend on the answer of the hierarchy here.

Secondly, my ordination. As a member of the Franciscan Order, I fall within the jurisdiction of our esteemed Rector, Monsignor William Blazing. He possesses the authority to conduct the ordination himself or, at his discretion, designate Monsignor Vanyar, another esteemed member of our Franciscan Order, to perform this sacred rite.
