It is simply a free individual initiative of a person who perhaps does not have a clear idea of ​​his role and does not have a clear idea that, as a cardinal, he cannot act freely as he wants because our actions fall on the sacred institution that we represent.

On the one hand, the deletion of the Curia from the list might seem like a good result, however, as Brother Francesco says, it was achieved by a personal initiative, which further diminishes, indeed erases, any authority of the Curia.

The second problem is that the Curia was deleted because of a legal technicality, not for the right reasons that should have mattered long ago.

The third thing is that there is no logic in the fact that the Curia was cancelled, but the individual cardinals were not. This clearly shows that the attitude of the Empire has not changed, and I do not think it will change.

For a long time the Empire has decided that the Church does not exist, and has organised its activities apart from it. With the support of many nobles and imperial rulers, who are not afraid to sin, but fear losing titles and honours.
