As the new Titular, the newly appointed Archbishop becomes an ex officio member of the Episcopal Assembly of his residence and is invested with all the rights and prerogatives conferred upon him by the Codex Iuris Canonici.

Following the cardinalitial tradition and the will of the Sovereign Pontiff Sixtus IV, make official, following his elevation and creation to the title of cardinal-bishop of the Universal and Roman Aristotelian Church, the appointment of His Eminence Adelène de Kermabon to the charge of the parish of Saint Sylphaël Outside the Walls.
In accordance with the pontifical ordinance of the twenty-sixth of September of the year of grace MCDLXXIV concerning the organization of the Papal States, His Eminence is made governor of Viterbo and of the Patrimony of Saint-Titus.

Have ruled and ordered, and by our present perpetual and final edict, rule and order the dismissal of Tymothé de Nivellus [Tymothe] by the office and the appointment of Julian Cotalba [Julian1997] as the new Prefect of the Office of the City.
In his capacity as Prefect of the Office of the City, he is entrusted with the governance of the Office of the City and the Council of Aediles, and with ensuring the observance and faithful execution of all duties and responsibilities prescribed by Canon Law.
We thank His Eminence for the valuable work he has carried out, and we wish him well in his new, high-ranking offices and We wish the new Prefect well in their work.

In his capacity as Prefect of the Office of the Index, he has a duty of monitoring the archiving and indexing as well as updating the registry. He must also ensure that the work is properly coordinated between archivist and the authorities issuing the measures. The Prefect certifies, upon request, whether or not there is a name in the index.
