    Indult pontifical - II

    Deuxième indult pontifical a écrit:

      **Canon originel

    A tous, bénédiction apostolique.

    Pontifical indult - II
On the access of Cardinals in the Roman Institutions

To the priests, abbots, bishops and prelates of the Aristotelian Communion,

According to the canon law Can. P-IV-1.2, the Sacred College of Cardinals, empowered to amend the Canon Law, has decided by way of an indult the amendment of the second part of the fifth book of the cannons titled « De Sanctae Sedis summo administratione », by modifying the right of access of the cardinals to the roman apostolic palaces (Can 5-II-4).

Therefore, We, cardinals of the Holy Roman and Aristotelian Church, on behalf of the Pope Innocent VIII and under the eyes of Aristotle, have ruled and proclaimed, and by our present perpetual and definitive indult, declare, rule and proclaim the following Canons, concerning the accesses of Cardinals within the Roman Institutions:

    Second pontifical indult a écrit:

      **Original canon

Article 4 : The Cardinal electors have the right to vote in the Curia and access to all the palaces, assemblies, and roman colleges.

      **Modified Canon

Article 4 : The Cardinal electors have the right to vote in the Curia and a right of access to all work rooms, colleges and institutions of the government of the Church. However, some sensitive rooms can be kept behind closed doors with restricted access, on a collegial decision of the Curia, provided that such restrictions are clearly and officially defined beforehand.

        - Intercalary article 1 : The rooms benefiting from a closed session are:
          - The rooms of the Roman Rota.
          - The rooms of the Apostolic Penitentiary.

        - Intercalary article 2 : Each roman Cardinal elector, in charge of a dicastery, college or institution, is entitled to exclude by reasoned and official motivations for a renewable month, another cardinal of any nature and status.

    To all, apostolic blessing.

For the Sacred College of Cardinals,
Aaron de Nagan, Archchancelor of the Apostolic See
