Hello,
I am sharing a project following a discussion with the Duchess of Tregor in Brittany. She proposes to us to install an abbey on the Aval Island (avalon according to the legend). I think that it can be a very good project to make of this place a point of meeting for the French-speaking Jesuits. This would help develop our Order which is quite unknown to the uninitiated. What do you think ? _________________

Being Scottish she needed to smile.
That is a very intressting project, basicly I have been discussing a similar idea already for a very long time regarding the Isle of "Iona" in Scotland.
If the Lyons Court will grant the Island among others to my Clan I will surely pick up this idea again.
But combining these ideas we could think of having more local Abbeys in various linguistic zones to be a sanctury and a place of activity to the jesuits.

I adore the idea of more abbeys - they are our schools, our publicity. So yes it must be clear that it is ours and listed and of course there is a need of a good statute too. _________________

Brother Cathelineau would you agree to work with me on such a statute?
I do believe we had some abbeys within the past assigned to various people but mainly on the continent and not on islands as well as I do believe that non of those are still active.
And I would prefere them to be a place of activity more than a place that only looks good on a piece of paper. _________________

I doubt this has any time pressure - we will work on it as soon as both our time will allow it - we will surely find a place to work on it quietly before presenting it here. _________________
