The Franciscan Friar could here banging at the door. He went to see and he saw the door keeper with Lily. He was happy that she had found the place. He thanked the doorkeeper for his service then told Lily to follow him. He guided her inside the hermitage and directly to the dinning hall. Welcome my child to our humble dwelling. Please take a seat will I get everything ready. He pointed to the chair and hoped that she understood. Then he headed to the kitchen and got some wine and cheese for them, he came back and laid everything on the table. There were a variety of cheese and wine. Thinking out loud, How I hoped that Brother Vanyar was here to translate for us.

Lilly was confused, after the door was opened and she showed her paper the man she met on the campus came an signed her to follow. As she did. After that he pointed a place to sit... in which she followed his pointment too. She sat down, taking the least place, as she only was a young woman, small, about 19 years, with a fine face, tanned by hard work and a poor childhood.

Her eyes followed the man to the door. They searched the room, investigating for the espected the tapistery from a distance. She enjoyed to see the nice handwork however it was sober and functional. Hearing the man returning her eyes followed him again. Seeing the cheese and wine... she get a little suspicious... why would a man like him give her noblemans food like this...

He talked again thoughfully about hope and was... but she didn't understand his talking...
She rememered the roll of paper she still had in her belt. She took it out and rolled it open. The English Pasorale Prima appeared, the side that was on the table was filled with mostly dutch words.

However she couldn't understand the man maybe he could explain it partically with use of the tapistery in the house. They somehow ended up here too. Her eager to learn over and again won it at cost of her human needs. Her eyes brightened by the idea to learn and she pointed at he tekst
"Bitte, ich kann es nicht lesen, und wir verstehen einander nicht... aber vielleicht... sagen die Bilder auf die Mäuern was ich verstehe." The sentence was to long.. but her eyes followed her thinking... so maybe, maybe did his Eminenz understand what she was hoping for. With a smal gesture to the pictures in the room she tried to clearify her thought.

William could not understand a word she was saying. Did she wished to have the pictures in the wall? What is it that she wanted. He got up thinking how he could communicate with her. He left the room then came back with some parchments and ink. He placed it on the table, pointed to her then to the paper and made gestures for her to draw what she wanted speaking slowly but clear, You, on paper, draw.

He short of understood her... having a paper and pencil he gave it to her and she drew... as a weaver she could draw.. she liked to make tapistery.

She looked at the paper with the English Pasorale Prima:

Citation:

Pastorale Prima
The Baptism Course

And turned it around... a list of notes became visible, she rolled the upper and lower parts till she had only the text she could paint her question about.
Citation:
7 Dagen... een week
7 zonden...
Asmodéé: Gulzigheid (Asmodeus, vraatzucht, groen worm) tegenhanger: Galadrielle: Behoud/Moed
Azazal: Wellust (Mistig, Man/vrouw, slang) tegenhanger Rafael: geloof/overtuiging
Belial: Ijdelheid (Trots, Liquide turqois, hagedis) tegenhanger Miguel?: vrijgevigheid (Michael: Kuisheid?)
Lucifer: Gemakszucht (uitgeteerde oude, Apathie) tegenhanger Selaphiel: Plezier/Wijsheid
Belzebuth: Gierigheid (gouden Spin, inhaligheid) tegenhanger George: Naastenliefde/vriendschap
Leviathan: Woede (Stier, vuur) tegenhanger Gabriël: Matigheid
Satan: Afgunst (Jalouzie, Vleermuis) tegenhanger Michael: Rechtvaardigheid? (dat was toch Michel?)
7 deugden...
Gabriël: Matigheid
Georges: Naasteliefde (Vriendschap)
Michel: Rechtvaardigheid (Michael?)
Michael: Kuisheid (Uriel: Vrijgevigheid?)
Galadriëlle: Moed (Behoud)
Sylphaël: Wijsheid (Selaphiel)
Rafaël: Geloof (Overtuiging)
Zonde leidt tot eeuwige zond... deugd tot eeuwige deugd?

Looking at her notes and started drawing on one of the parchments the kind man brought her...
First she wrote four names; Uriel, Michel, Michael and Miguel.
straight after that she painted an ugly lizzard and wrote Belial under it.
she followed with an bat... under which she wrote Satan.
After that she wrote two way pointer beside the Lizzard and beside the bat, and a question mark.

Citation:
Uriel, Michel, Michael and Miguel

(Lizzard) <-> ?
Belial

(Bat) <-> ?
Satan

After that she looked up to the kind man, she assumed the names of the seven good and the seven bad were the same in different languages.. and if not, the painting she imaged out of the book of virtues would give him a clue. And maybe he could tell here why there were 4 different names for 2 of the good in the book of virtues.

William looks at the paper and tries to figure out what was drawn. He turned the paper in a different manner hoping to be able to understand it but in vain. After a few long minutes, he looked at the paper and the child's university paper. He thought that he had understood something. Taking the paper he wrote the four angels name in pairs saying, Uriel x Michel x Michael x Miguel. The names are similar but not the same.

Lilly saw the names in pairs... she listens carefully, trying to match the words with ones she knows: De namen aar ... ... ... de samen. (the names ear ... ... ... the together) She nods... the names were indeed together.. but she couldn't see his writing... so she would like to know which one belongs to the other. And which were contradict to which demon.

So she took her original writing and added something.. with pictures of a money giving hand she tried to show generosity and with a scale she added justice.

Citation:
Uriel, Michel, Michael and Miguel

(Lizzard) <-> ? Miguel? Michael? Uriel? (a money giving hand)?
Belial

(Bat) <-> ? Michel? Michael? Uriel? (scale of justice)
Satan

It seemed to be harder to communicate as she wished... she hoped Elequest, Kimahri or McKennit or someone else was here. Maybe this should be her last attempt... she gave the pencil and paper to William. Kan u de fouten weg strepen? She tried slowly in Dutch... maybe he could understand some words as she did a moment ago.

William could see that she wanted some answers, but giving her the answers to the exams would mean that she had cheated, and this was not a possibility. Instead, he gave a copy of the English document, saying For you answer, you must look at paragraph three and five.

Citation:

      The virtues and sins

The friendship is embodied by the Archangel George and represents the ability to think about the fate of one's fellow men, to care for others, to feel compassion and to show mercy. Friendship is what unites all Aristotelians and through friendship the believer helps his brothers and sisters on the path of virtue.
She faces the greed embodied by the demon prince Belzebub, who is the vice of beings whose egoism is equal to the contempt of others. Greed consists in dealing only with oneself and it can only be compared with contempt for one's fellow human beings.

Frugality is embodied by the Archangel Galadriel and is the ability to fight for his own survival. It is the awareness of the basic needs for food, water, sleep and the ability to be content with what one actually needs.
This virtue is countered by the sin of gluttony, embodied by demon prince Azazel, which is an abuse of the joy of basic needs. It is the vice of those who know no measure of the necessity of their livelihood and are never satisfied with what they have, so that other people will suffer because they will lack these things. Gluttony corresponds to the craving for pleasure.

Humility is embodied by the Archangel Michael and represents the ability to sacrifice oneself for the benefit of the Aristotelian community and the Republic, apart from one's own individuality. It is the consciousness to be a part of the whole, as we have already learned from Aristotle, is the good Aristot who helps his neighbor and participates in the life in his city.
Humility is countered by the sin of pride, embodied by the demon prince Belial, who feels like he can live outside the community or has attained Divine status and believes that we alone can override everything and attain Divine status.

The virtue of temperance is embodied by the Archangel Gabriel and has the ability to temper and follow the golden mean which is the believer's destiny to prove understanding to others. This virtue is essential in that it complements all other virtues, and beyond that, temperance also consists in accepting one's own destiny.
This virtue is countered by the anger embodied by the demon prince Leviathan, who is the vices of those who give free rein to their hatred of other people or who try with all their might to fight against their destinies.

Justice is the virtue represented by the Archangel Michel and is characterized by the ability of a man to show generosity and recognize the value of his fellow men by showing interest in them and being compassionate.
Justice is faced with the sin of envy, embodied by the demon prince Satan, which is the vice of those who want to benefit from just rewards due to others. Or those people who desire the goodness or happiness of their fellow men.

Blessedness is the virtue embodied by the Archangel Sylphael and is the ability of a man to work to unite the prerequisites for his own happiness. It is the consciousness of oneself, one's body, soul and the need to make one's existence happy and simple.
It is opposed by the sin of inertia of the spirit embodied by the demon prince Lucifer, and this is the vice of all those who fall into spiritual depression, who remain passive and have no pleasure in life, who disregard their own satisfaction.

The virtue of faith is the hope for a future full of promises and is made by the Archangel Raphaelle. Faith is largely the awareness of the needs and future interests of the faith community and the need for species conservation.
This is countered by the sin of lust presented by the demon prince Asmodia, which is the vice of those who find pleasure in the abuse of carnal things and in total nihilism.

He took her drawing and wrote five and five with a tick showing the good answer.

Lilly looked at the gestures of the man... he tooked a parchement whit text. Curious Lilly looked at it... but it was English...

He pointed at two paragraphs in the text.. and a little vague Lilly looked up... she was thinking... the man tried to explain something... so far it was clear...

Maybe her answer was in the text she couldn't read... but couldn't read... she scanned fast the text, her finger following the lines... she murmured with a dry voice.

Michael....Belial...

Michel... Satan...

She turned back to her original document and underlined two namens
Citation:
7 Dagen... een week

After that she looked at her other paper and edit:
Citation:
Uriel, Michel, Michael and Miguel

(Lizzard) <-> ? Miguel?=Michael? Uriel? (a money giving hand)?
Belial

(Bat) <-> ? Michel? Michael? Uriel? (scale of justice)
Satan

Uriel = Michel/Michael?

Gut, danke She still didn't know how tho think about Uriel but she had the most important answer.

Lilly looked at the man with a thankful smile. Suddenly she felt hungry and thirsty again, and again she smiled; about her own longing for knowledge, which apparently was much stronger than her human needs.

William could hear the grumblings of the child's stomach. He hoped that she would at least have a grab of the cheese he had given her. Then he realised maybe cheese and wine was not to her liking. He made signs to her pointing at the food and making gestures with his thumb to ask if it was good for her. Lilly, cheese good? You like? If not you go kitchen, and take what you wish. Indeed this part of the hermitage had a small kitch n made for the hosts so that they could grab a snack if the hermitage food was too poor for them. Smiling to her he pointed to the guest's kitchen

Lilly looks at the gestures of the man, she sees the cheese... he seems to consider it as normal food, she is a little ashamed she didn't know it was normal food. But now she takes a bit, it tasted nice. She pointed her tumb up, to tell is okay.

Slowly she eats some more... and considers drinking some of the wine.. as the cheese is common food here she might drink the wine too. Why doubting? She takes a wine which seems to be light, and drinks it. Her face betrays this introduction to wine is not entirely fine. Used to the poor mans beer she has to get used to the taste of wine.
But thirsty as she is she takes enough to quench the first thirst.

Danke shön, dank u She says in two languages.. thinking how to express her thankfulness..

William looks at her with his usual gentle smile, I am happy that you liked it. It is getting late if you wish you can sleep here and leave when you wish. He pointed to the rooms that were reserved here for the guests. He took the parchment and drew a bed and wrote "Lily" on it.

Lilly smiled friendly and shakes her head. She rolled up her paper of the universitas and put it in her belt. Ich werde im Universitas schlafen.
She draws the logo of the universitas and drew a bed in the logo. She smiled. Although a bed seems to be luxurious the simple floor of her classroom made her feel home, humble and safe.

With a little smile she added a 'l' to the 'Lily' from William... now it was written 'Lilly' after that she pointed at him... knowing she did lost his name in the flood of unfamiliar words. She wrote 'Wil...' was it Wilbert, Willem, Willsohn?.. she only know he was Archbishop.
