Hubertusz megáll a csodás épület előtt. Ma reggel vette kézbe a ház papírjait. Szíve csordultig van örömmel. Ez a ház, mely Róma egyik legcsodálatosabb helyén, a Vatikáni városrészben található, éppen olyan, mint elképzelte. Csodás kis épület. Kis irodája pedig nyitva áll minden érdeklődő előtt. Bár jelenleg egyedül lakik benne, de reméli időben megtelik majd élettel. Addig is becipeli bőröndjét és kipakolja könyveit, melyek az egyetemhez kellenek. Majd ajkai imát mondanak, hogy itt lakhat, s nekiáll tanulni.


Hubertusz stops in front of the magnificent building. He picked up the papers of the house this morning. His heart is overflowing with joy. This house, located in one of the most amazing places in Rome, in the Vatican, is just as he imagined. Wonderful little building. And his small office is open to anyone. Although he currently lives alone, he hopes it will be filled with life in time. In the meantime, he will carry his suitcase and unpack his books, which he needs for University. Then his lips say a prayer that he can live here and start learning.

Hubertusz a fáradtan tér vissza Rómába. A hétvégén a Királyi Tanács ülésezett és az is, valamint az út is elfárasztotta. Komótosan lépked fel a lépcsőkön. Palástját az ajtó mellé akasztja és leül az asztalhoz. Elgondolkodik, majd kihúzza fiókját, benne egy képpel. Előveszi.

Úgy vélem ennek is eljött az ideje.

Majd feláll és az asztal mögé kiakasztja a kis festményt, mely a Magyar Arisztotelészi Egyház egyik alapítóját és első vezetőjét ábrázolja.

Azért dolgozok, hogy újra olyan nyitott, befogadó, a hitet terjesztő egyház lehessen hazámban, amelyet Ő megalapított.

Majd a háló felé sétál és ábrándjaival együtt elalszik.




Hubertusz returns to Rome wearily. He was tired, because the Royal Council met over the weekend, as well as the long trip. He comatose step on the stairs. He hangs his cloak next to the door and sits down at the table. He thinks and then pulls out his drawer with a picture it in. He takes it out.

I think the time has come for that too.

Then he stands up and hangs a small painting behind the table, depicting one of the founders and first leaders of the Hungarian Aristotle Church.

I am working to be an open, inclusive, faith-spreading church in my country ones again. That He has founded.

Then he walks towards the bedroom and falls asleep with his daydreams.

Hubetusz az oldalsó bejárat felől érkezik kis házához. Az alkonyat kezdete miatt már nincsenek olyan fények, de mikor megfogja a kilincset felnéz.

Te jóságos, milyen ez az ajtó? Ácsnak tanultam és a saját ajtóm ilyen. Amint lesz időm nekilátok egy újnak.

Majd bemegy és felakasztja köpenyét az ajtó mellé. Szobájában leül székébe és egy teát kortyolgatva a tüzet nézi. Közben azokon a szövegeken, történeteken mereng, melyeket az Egyetemen olvasott. Oly sok minden kavarog agyában és oly sok mindent még csak el sem kezdett. De ez csak nem szegheti kedvét és a célja az Egyház szolgálata, melynek érdekében tanulni kell. Összeszedve magát nyugovóra tér, hogy holnap megújult erővel térjen vissza könyvtár falai közé.


Hubetus arrives at his little house from the side entrance. There are no more lights because of dusk, but when he grabs the doorknob he looks up.


Goodness, how is this door? I was trained as a carpenter and my door is like this. As soon as I have time, I'll start to make a new one.

Then he goes in and hangs his cloak near the door. In his room, he sits down in his chair and sips a cup of tea, watching the fire. Meanwhile, he ponders the texts and stories he read at the University. So many things swirl in his mind and so many things he hasn't even know. But he cannot let this put him off and his aim is to serve the Church, for which he must learn. He will go to bed now and return to the library tomorrow with renewed strength.

Hubertusz még a következő egyetemi órájára vár a híreket tanulmányozza. Az egyik hazájából érkező hírre fel is kapja a fejét.

Te jó ég, megint? Hogyan? Hihetetlen dolog.

Majd pergament ragad és levelet ír. Egy küldöncnek odaadja a ház előtt, hogy mielőbb vigye a megfelelő helyre. Majd visszatér a házba.

Bár a döbbenet kicsit sokkolta, de nem feledi ittlétének célját, s folytatja a tanulást, hogy jól képzett legyen.


Hubertusz is still waiting for his next university class to study, until that he read the news. One of the news from his home country catches his attention.

Good heavens, again? How? It's unbelievable.

Then he grabs some parchment and writes a letter. He gives it to a messenger outside the house to take it to the right place as soon as possible. Then he returns to the house.

Though a little shocked, he does not forget the purpose of his stay and continues to study to become well-educated.

Hubertusz épp az ebédjéhez készülődik. Bár nemrég itta meg reggeli italát, kicsit tovább aludt a mai napon. A konyha felé indult, mikor kopogtatnak. Ajtót nyitva egy küldönc áll ott. Átad egy iratot, majd távozik. Hubertusz a konyha felé ballagva felnyitja az írást és elolvassa. Arduino Della Scala várja őt egy megbeszélésre. Hubertusz nem is tudja mit gondoljon, aggódjon vagy sem. Annyi biztos, hogy nem várakozhat. Gyorsan megebédel, ki tudja mennyi időt tölt ott, majd sietve távozik házából.


Hubertusz is preparing his lunch. Although he has just finished his morning drink, he has slept a little longer today. He was on his way to the kitchen when there was a knock on the door. A messenger stands there. He hands over a document and leaves. Hubertusz, walking towards the kitchen, opens the paper and reads it. Arduino Della Scala is waiting for him for a meeting. Hubertusz doesn't know whether to worry or not. All he knows is that he cannot wait. He eats a quick lunch, who knows how long he will be there, and then hurries out of the house.

Hubertusz kényelmes ruhában sétál ki a konyhába. Egy kis szendvicset készít magának és egy kis italt vesz magához. Visszamegy szobájába és leül a karosszékbe. Leteszi a holmikat az asztalra és kényelmesen hátradől. Sikeresen lezárta tanulmányát és még a következő kurzusa kezdődik van némi pihenésre ideje. Egy könyvet vesz a kezébe és miközben eszeget nyugodtan olvasgat egy könyvet.


Hubertusz walks out into the kitchen, comfortably dressed. He makes himself a sandwich and takes a drink. He goes back to his room and sits down in an armchair. He puts his things on the table and leans back comfortably. He has successfully completed his studies and has some time to rest before his next course begins. He takes a book in his hands and while eating he reads a book in peace.

Hubertusz reggeli után felöltözik és felveszi fehér köpenyét. Szíve hevesen ver és próbálja keze izzadását és folyamatosan törölni. Ma eljön életének egy újabb nagy állomása. A Szent Silfaele Bazilika felé veszi az irányt. Tanulmányai sikeres lezárása után megnyílt előtte az út a felszentelés előtt. Végre az Egyház klérusának tagja lehet. Sietve szedi a lábát, hogy el ne késsen...

After breakfast, Hubertusz gets dressed and puts on his white robe. His heart is beating fiercely and he tries to wipe the sweat from his hands and keep wiping. Today comes another big stage in his life. He heads for the Basilica of St Silfaele. After the successful completion of his studies, the road to ordination has opened before him. At last he can become a member of the clergy of the Church. He hurries to his feet to avoid being late...

Hubertusz az utóbbi időszakban szinte teljesen idejét az könyvtárban töltötte. A teológusi képzés miatt rengeteg könyvet kellett elolvasni. De nem bánja, mert így szélesedet a látóköre, nőtt a tudása. Sok érdekesség kering a fejében és gondolkodik is azon, hogy talán erről ír is egy könyvet. Mindenesetre reméli, hogy az utolsó vizsgáját is sikerrel zárja. Ahogy a székében ülve ezen töpreng úgy dönt, hogy el is megy az egyetemre és a könyvtárból gyűjt egy kis kezdőanyagot írásához.

Hubertus has recently spent most of his time in the library. His theological training meant that he had to read a lot of books. But he doesn't mind, because it has broadened his horizons and increased his knowledge. He has many interesting things on his mind and is thinking of writing a book about them. In any case, he hopes to pass his last exam. As he sits in his chair pondering this, he decides to go to the university and collect some material from the library to start writing.
