We have ordained and enacted, and by our present edict perpetual and definitive ordain and order the full review of the accreditation of the seminar: Séminaire Saint Théophraste de Bourges.
The duty of the CDF is to check and maintain the seminary for its compliance with the Vatican's doctrinal prescriptions for the maintenance of the faith, catechesis and the formation of clergy in accordance with the laws of God to avoid heresy and schism.
In the course of this task, a general inspection is carried out at regular intervals. For this purpose, a team of CDF staff members will inspect the seminaries in accordance with the strict controls. In the meantime, teaching can continue normally and should not be disturbed.
In this context, we expect full cooperation between the CDF and the educational institutions of the seminar, as well as the disclosure of teaching materials, teaching methods, curricula and student lists, seminar contents and the management of the seminar. The staff of the CDF will receive full insight and authority from the Vatican Congregation.
We hope for a positive conclusion of the investigations and wish the sponsors of the seminar as well as its students much joy and success in their studies and seminar operation.

we announce a new prefect for the Aristotelian Teachings
New prefect is Richard de Cetzes [Richard de Cetzes]
We are happy that Eminence Richard de Cetzes will dedicate himself to this new task with vigour and energy.
Our prayers will accompany him and our collaboration will be intensified for the good of the Church and his religious orders.

we announce that the Prefecture of the Roman Regular Chapter is vacant. The former prefect Marco Depolis is dismissed. We thank him for his services.

The Prefecture for Aristotelian Teachings ensures that the theological seminaries are correctly linked to the teachings of Holy Mother Church. Furthermore, the Prefect coordinates the registers of graduates and adds them to the large Roman register. He coordinates the regular on-site inspections of the seminaries and awards teaching accreditations that allow the respective institute to continue its teaching activities. In this way, the Prefect of Aristotelian Teachings ensures that theological education remains uniform and orderly throughout the world.

we announce that the Prefecture of Aristotelian Teachings will get a new prefect. Monsignore Blancastre will become the new prefect for the Aristotelian Teachings.
In addition to this, Monsignor Blancastre will take on the job as Private Secretary, in coordinating secular and spiritual commitments within the Society and beyond. He will henceforth work alongside me as my closest confidant and collaborator beyond his duties within the CDF, advising me, accompanying me at events in Rome and beyond, and taking on correspondence and conducting meetings on my behalf when requested. The function of Private Secretary supports the functions of the General Secretary of the CDF, but also the Secretary of the University, the Gate Secretary of the Jesuit Order or the Palace Secretary in Doria-Pamphiji. In this sense, the Private Secretary adds to the team and becomes part of the Inner Circle and receives the corresponding privileges of the Order of the White Lion of Eros.
We thank him for his duty and the work he wants to invest in that important prefecture and on my side for the glory of Gods Church.
