Opinion: the request is more than relevant.

| Citation: | Simple cancellation of the sacrament of the marriage.
Cancellation makes that the marriage is non-existent in a retroactive way and thus the titles are not held in common any more and the children are regarded as illegetimate.
- If the spouse is excommunicated or apostate, it is regarded as dead for the church; the marriage is thus dissolved and remarriage is possible after one period of penitence.
- If one of the couple is condemned to eradication for heresy or sorcery, its marriage with the other Aristotelian is canceled if this last makes the request of it. |
Kind of cancellation : simple cancellation
Consequences : Asherah will be allowed to marry again, Devian will not be allowed to marry again and wil be excommunicated.
Recommandation : Asherah takes absolutly no blame in this en therefor she doesn't need to confess or do penitence, what kind so ever. She did everything in her ability to keep her husband on the path of light.
For devian there will only be absolution if he show sincere remorse, after he has taken a full confession. The kind and amount of repentice will be determined when neccesary. |

As the priest who married these two, and as a member of the Diocesan Council of Utrecht who handles this aplication for divorce, I was wondering if there was already a verdict.
Asherah is already waiting for almost 2 months now.
People are asking questions about it, and it is really affecting her social life.
As being the Judge in de Dutch Council, it is not in your favour still being being married to a criminal and herritic.
So, we hope to hear from you soon.

Le mariage de ces deux fidèles est donc à partir de ce jour dissout dans le cadre d'une annulation simple par excommunication de l'époux.
L'épouse étant reconnue innocente, un remariage ultérieur est autorisé.
L'époux étant reconnu coupable d'excommunication, un remariage ultérieur est jugé impossible.
Qu'Aristote ramène Devian vers la Lumière!
