we announce that the Prefecture of the Pontifical Museums of Rome has resigned. The former prefect, Alessandro Della Scala is dismissed. We thank him for his services.

The Pontifical Museums of Rome have the task of creating cultural and contemporary attractions. It manages and expands the museums and galleries of Rome. It will be the task of the Prefect to develop an overarching concept for this Prefecture so that we can bring the work of the Pontifical Museums of Rome to the centre of people's lives. The General Secretary coordinates the proclamations and publications on the instructions of the CDF Chancellor. He also writes letters to the prefectures as required and ensures that the registers and organisation charts of the Congregation are always up to date. The General Secretary works closely with the Prefects and the Chancellor and ensures that everything runs smoothly between the individual prefectures and the leadership of the CDF. This gives the General Secretary an important and responsible role within the Congregation.

The Villa St Loyats is the heart of the Roman translation service. Here, dogmatic and canonical texts in particular are translated into all the languages of the world. The Prefect is entrusted with ensuring and monitoring these translation services so that the translations in the Vatican Library can be made available to the world.

we announce that the Prefecture of Aristotelian Teachings will get a new prefect. Monsignore Blancastre will become the new prefect for the Aristotelian Teachings.
In addition to this, Monsignor Blancastre will take on the job as Private Secretary, in coordinating secular and spiritual commitments within the Society and beyond. He will henceforth work alongside me as my closest confidant and collaborator beyond his duties within the CDF, advising me, accompanying me at events in Rome and beyond, and taking on correspondence and conducting meetings on my behalf when requested. The function of Private Secretary supports the functions of the General Secretary of the CDF, but also the Secretary of the University, the Gate Secretary of the Jesuit Order or the Palace Secretary in Doria-Pamphiji. In this sense, the Private Secretary adds to the team and becomes part of the Inner Circle and receives the corresponding privileges of the Order of the White Lion of Eros.

Unfortunately, I must announce a provisional change in the leadership of the Prefecture.
The status of Gnarus needs to be clarified subsequently, even though the CDF may deviate from standard procedures and may issue appointments that differ from the general norm. For the CDF, a clean solution is always the best, which is why the CDF is in close contact with Gnarus and supports him in his efforts to adjust his status, thus obtaining the best qualification that we, as the CDF, consider valuable.
For this reason, the appointment made on March 19 is temporarily withdrawn. Gnarus will have the opportunity to clarify his status and to work on his project for the Company of the Pilgrim of Aristotle as a member of the Prefecture. The leadership falls, as usual in such moments, to the chancellery in accordance with the hierarchical guidelines of Article 1, Book 5.2. The chancellery also confirms with this appointment the membership of Gnarus in the Prefecture for the Company of the Pilgrim of Aristotle and the associated task assignment according to Article 21, Book 5.2. The documents submitted for the office of prefect are used as a basis in accordance with Article 20, Book 5.2. This is [not] a function according to Article 6, Book 5.2.
Any unsatisfactory requirements are officially authorised and noted in this letter as an exception by the CDF Chancellery in accordance with Article 22, Book 5.2.
In anticipation of swift results and solutions, the CDF stands united for the benefit of the Holy Mother Church.
