Nestled in the suburbs of Rome was a mild little apartment building, only a few stories high. The ground floor being a tavern, those above it each contained a single bedroom. Flaithbheartach de Innes had purchased one of these apartments using the last of his funds from the sale of his house in Edinburgh last year. The apartment was his home when he visited Rome, and a cozy home it was. It was more than befitting of his rank, almost too elaborate, however being situated above a tavern it was too good to refuse...

A letter was delivered to Father Flaithbheartach:

Dear Father Flaithbheartach,

I was planning to visit the Holy Capital possibly in March and thought it would be nice, if you could perhaps keep me company and guide me through the twisted streets of Rome. I get easily confused and lost in new places...
I didn't want to drop unannounced and thought I would send you a letter first by pigeon mail.
