-------------------------------------------------------------
Sarah had made a difficult decision. She was for some time a sister within saint Thomas's congregation. But she did not find certain visions and priorities there which were essential for her. The order took a direction which did not correspond to her. She refused to be a brake, but also refused to deny her vision of the Faith and her fervour.

Working since a few months on Ripoll, she had learnt to like working in this country, and confronting with the shock of the religions. She liked speaking about Faith with people who did not follow necessarily the same way or had left that of the Aristotelian Faith and to present them her vision of the Faith, trying to return them towards what she named the Straight Way. She was just a deaconess but how much saw speaking with people and listening to them could be really important for giving them the faith. Even the heretics could hear this message if we knew how to speak with them. In a sense, it was an opportunity for her not to be an orderly priest. The heretics spoke to her more easily. Oh, she was not certainly really a perfect woman, but she had the faith and she believed in the redemption. She like helping people to change and to become better.

She had thus taken time to write in his Eminence Nicolas Borgia who had invited her to go to the abbey to meet him. Walking a little in the patio, she thus took advantage of the peace of places while waiting for to be received.

-Excelencia! Es un placer encontraros. ¿Qué tal estáis? Bienvenida seáis a nuestra Abadía.

And Nicolás was waiting. The valentian Cardinal was waiting the moment of her arrival: he has heard the voices talking about a pious woman, of noble lineage, who wanted to serve the Lord's will, and he was amused because of this. Usually, the nobles served the Church with the sword, as he did in his youth...but a noble who wanted to preach, and spread the faith between the infidels and heretics, to save their souls?

Indeed, it was really interesting. The Duke of Gandía even heard that she converted Athan back to the aristotelic faith...such a prowess talked by itself.

So, the Borja arrived at the doors, and the hour they arranged to see each other: Laudes.

-Excellency! It's a pleasure to meet you. How are you? You are welcome to our Abbey. We open to you our doors, as it were your home. Every thomist brother or sister could consider our abbeys as their home.

-------------------------

Sarah was quite in the pondering over a simple flower and nevertheless full of virtues. Its sheets dentellées, the multitude of its small white flowers, the Yarrow was of look so delicate and nevertheless full of virtues benefactresses for whom knew how to recognize it and use it advisedly. She was there of her thoughts, touching with the fingertips the delicate plant when she heard somebody to approach. Her look got up on a messenger who put down her a vellum. She took it carefully, unwound it and read it. Its content came to affect the heart of the young woman. The words were of the thomist rector who gave here consciousness of the tear which he had caused between them. Sarah had lived their exchanges in the suffering. But there was in her a virtue in circles of all the small feminine sins. She had a natural propensity to grant to every man a second chance and if to get back to her confidence was often a titanic work, she had an hability to forgive those who knew how to pass besides their pride to recognize overflowing. And for it, in spite of the tears which he had pulled her, Sarah decided to see again the reasons of her visit this day there.

She did not plan to withdraw for all that, far from there. She had numerous projects to help in the Faith in Castile. And if she planned to remain thomist, she knew as far as her order lived far from there and as far as without help on the spot, she could not travel the way that she was trace. In that respect, to be able to meet his Eminence Nicolas was an obvious fact and a necessity. Thus it is with a soft smile that Sarah stopped rolling up the vellum when she looked the prelate to approach. She slid the letter in her small shoulder bag and joined the cardinal. Kneeling down respectfully on his feet, she came to put down a kiss on the cardinalice ring in sign of submission in her hierarchy then allowed to get up when the latter spoke. Offering a thoughtful look to his greetings, she answered in a quiet and composed voice.

Your Eminence, it is with enjoyment that we appear here to you. The journey was very good, well. I am honored with your welcome. As I wrote it to you, I'm going to spend a lot of time from now on to Ripoll and in Castile where I want to be able to work with proselytism in a revival of Faith in particular by spreading the Word and by listening to the fears and the disappointments of those who were able to go away one time of the Straight and narrow and which I hope to return towards the just light. But it is an important work which I cannot hope to bring to a successful conclusion alone. Our orders are brothers, and thus I hope sincerely that we can work together in this work.

Nicolás asintió, y volvió a asentir.

______________________________________

Nicolás nodded, and nodded again. Sarah's words represented quiet good his own opinion. He wasn't surprise the Thomist had such a similar way of thinking to his own...definitely, the Thomist Order was one of the most important ones in the current debates, and his own Order had a very similay opinion about reality and dogmatical beliefs.

He hoped the meeting with Arnarion were useful for his propose: he wanted their Orders to become more than just brother orders. So, the Duke of Gandía replied to Sarah:

-Yes. It's our duty to work together to purge the heresy from everywhere it spreads. However, heresy is a kind of ignorance or refusal to accept our dogmas, and I think we could solve it by the use of the Reason, as Saint Thomas said. We surely could convince many of these men that they believe in mistakes, and we could save their souls.

That's the mission of our Church, the same mission Christo's Apostles had, when they converted the pagans, even Titus, as first Bishop of Rome. Me, and my brothers from the Order, wish that...the aristotelic preminence. But we just could achieve it if we have compromised men and women: actualy, the Church is agonic in many places because of Sloth.

But well, we could try to change that. Come with me...I will guide you for the cell where you will stay.

And Nicolás started walking along the corridors, to the center of the monastery. So, he lead Sarah to her cell...

A letter arrives for the Order.

Citation:
Dear Monsignor,

I am writing to you as I have received the charge of the Office of the Relics of Saint Theodule for the protection of relics. I am conducting a census to determine which relics the Congregations possess and whether they have the proper certifications.

I would be very grateful if you could take the time to respond to this letter, as it will help us advance in our research.

May God bless you.

Peace and Goodwill,

Monsignor William Blazing, OFM
Prefect for the Office of the Relics of Saint Theodule
