A messenger hastened to inform the cardinal-chancellor of the Congregation, and Her Eminence Fenice went to receive the imperial envoy personally.

Smiling, affable, she approached with a gesture of blessing.

Pax et bonum, welcome Your Excellency. I hope the journey was a good one. The roads, in this season, are very bad... But come, follow us, the Imperial Hall awaits us.

[Twoflower]

A bit out of breath Twoflower arrives at the Congregation of Worldly Affairs. He had been here many years ago but the halls of the church are overwhelmingly huge and so he had to take some detours.

He announces himself: "I am Twoflower von Agatea, the legal advisor of His Imperial Majesty, here to see..." he pauses for a short moment, unsure about whom he is to meet "... to join the Imperial Chancellor."

[Fenice]

The secretary of the Cardinal-chancellor of the Congregation welcomed the guest and said him

Your Excellency, please follow me to the Imperial hall.
