Dear Colleagues,

in the course of finalising the layout reform of Dogma which was completed today, there is a problem.

The texts:


• Unus a um
  
• Appel universel à la paix


appear in the dogma, although according to Wilgeforte they are marked as plagiarism and do not belong in the dogma according to their wording.

Now I cannot simply remove something from the dogma. But I have issued an order not to translate these texts.

Because as plagiarisms (copies from the IRL Vatican Library) they have no place in the dogma.

In the CSO, there were no references to an actually necessary vote and, as far as I know, not even via the Curia.

But it must be said that these texts entered the dogma more than 10 years ago and times have changed. Today's culture within the Church leadership is far more institutionalised than at that time.

I therefore ask the Curia for the fastest possible discussion and vote on the removal of the texts from the dogma - in the same way as texts diffuse into the dogma through the vote of the Curia.

Given the importance of this topic, it would be very important that all cardinals express themselves. The Dean should obviously contact them according to internal rules.
We further advise to hold a vote rather than proceed by consensus, given the sensibility of the matter.

As I understand it, these texts have been considered not part of the Dogma for at least ten years.

By virtue of the principle of non-plagiarism, I believe they should be deleted or heavily edited.

I also agree with the Holy Father that, given the importance of the Dogma in all our thoughts and actions, a vote would give greater weight to the decision taken.

-Although these texts were already excluded from dogma ten years ago, I am in favour of their definitive removal from the Roman library.

Like Cardinal Felipe said - it is important to follow the correct rules of our Church and as what we see, it was not followed in the past or the rules didn't exist.

It is a proof, that small changes in the structure can cast complications on some levels. In this case a lot of questions for the library.

I think we will do justice to have the election and than this will be removed from all indexes of the library and we will close the case.

Kalixtus smiled to Cardinal Felipe, his new hairdress looks very charming and oh there is also a little nod of Kalis head to give the words of Felipe justice and support. Is that a sign of the end of the conflict of that two persons.
