Hello, im the new mayor in An Gort.

we still have no priest...as far as i know we have had Pamsel, and Kailya and livius interested. As well as a citizen called Eleyne who the bishop has failed to mention here.

According to Eleyne, it was over 6 weeks ago that Livius was approached and asked to be priest...im not sure the citizens of An Gort want a priest who takes so long to respond especially since we have a capable lady in Eleyne and she is very willing too.

Can someone please tell me when we will have a priest?

yes Eleyne is church way.

Though i have just found out she is not baptised, not through lack of trying, she has asked 4 priests to do it and nothing has happened of yet.


This poor girl seems to have been ignored by so many people, its not very fair now is it?

An update :

It takes time indeed !! And I'm also disappointed.
Kailya was interested but in fact she isn't level 3 of the chuch way. A waste of time for An Gort.
After, since Livius was interested, I offer him the office but I'm still waiting that he follows the Seminary (since he has some problem of connection to the forum I send him a mail with the lesson - Sorry Apocas I din't see your message above-). I send him a message yesterday I believe (or the previous day) in order to refresh his memory.
If I have not answer in a "few" days I will ask to Eleyne, she has already contacted about his.
It's not impossible that I travel in a few days in order to appoint Eleyne temporarily.

The deacon of Port Lairge, Aishling (I'm happy enough to call myself her friend), just levelled up Church way.
I think she'd be a fantastic priest, so I encouraged her to be in touch with the seminary.
Hopefully she'll follow the course shortly.

Update:

Indeed Kailya has undergone seminary studies but it is unfortunate that she is not of the Church way. Pamsel of An Gort, on the other hand hasn't reported back to finish her seminary studies yet. The same with Solon128 of Baile Locha Riach.

As for Eleyne of An Gort, I share everybody's hope that she will be the clergy that you are hoping to have. She has just been given access to her seminary cell and is studying as of the moment.

Thank you all for moving forward with this.

Just a quick update: I did finally cross paths with Pamsel in An Gort and asked her what happened regarding the seminary.

She had some (OOC: RL) issues that required her attention and thus she pulled herself out of the running for Priest.

Again, I thank all of your efforts in Ireland and Rome to get a Priest installed in An Gort.

Ireland can definitely use some help from the Church!
