You can always improve a skill you have for a small gain at the 5 pound price, but it takes a very long time.
You probably average a 1.5% increase, whereas you average a 5% increase in a class (non-lord). I have always found it more worthwhile to just attend classes whenever I can.

And it looks like I won't be travelling soon, I'm probably booked for another term.
