The bells of the Basilica of St. Titus began to play a festival for the appointment of a new cardinal.
In a few minutes will be held the enthronement of the new cardinal Lujuria.

The doors of the church were opened to collect the faithful.

Being Imperial Ambassador to Aragon, the cardinal knew very well the Spanish Church, and was aware at which point Lujuria was a precious value to it. If she was becoming cardinal today, it is because she had always been sincerely devoted to God, and she deserved it. All in red, the prelate entered into the Saint Titus Basilica, sitting at the first row, waiting for the begining of the ceremony to begin.

Having managed the recent troubles in the Hispanic Church, the blind cardinal desired to be present to the ceremony making Lujuria the new Hispanic cardinal.

That day was to be a memorable day for the bishop of Segovia. She never imagined that simple woman become bishop , much less wear purple . But the ways of the Almighty were inscrutable . Lujuria had dedicated his life to serving God and the faithful , accepting without any hesitation the obligations that were on the rise.

Becoming part of the Curia meant recognition of her work in her years of service to the Aristotelian Church, but also an additional burden on her back that will certainly result in a lot of work and , she hoped, in large projects that mproved the Spanish primacy in particular, and the Church in general . She was excited and scared , now would be one of those influential people.

When she came to the Basilica of Saint Titus, her legs making faltered. she was dressed completely in black, as she always did, and leaning on his silver staff. On the way up to his place in the front row greeted everyone present, friends, acquaintances or simple curious that were there.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A special ceremony will take place behind the closed doors of the Basilica of St. Titus, one that represented the majesty and eternity of Rome, centered around the heart of a vast religious and social city empire. That day would be extremely special for the same Legrat then see his sister in the Episcopate, Lust, assuming a somewhat higher responsibility than usual.

He was attired in a black cassock of purple buttons, while his chest hung a sort of chest appeared to be gold, adorned with precious stones "fanciful." His only support so far for walking was a simple wooden staff.

He joined the Roman building, and then take its place among the ranks of Hispanic bishops dignities.

Maybe, the Queen of Valencia herself will be present in the ceremony, if the Borgia's pidgeons were fast enough...

Alexander start to say:

"Welcome in this public concistory, where today we give the dignity of cardinal at the new eminence Lujuria. That will be a great day for the church and for our sister Lujuria.
We pray together:

Credo in Deum,
Altissimum Omnipotentem,
Creatorem caeli et terrae,
Inferos et paradisi,
Ultima hora animae judicem nostrae

Et in Aristotelem, prophetam,
Nicomaqui Phaetique filium,
Missum ut sapientiam et universi
Divas leges errantibus hominibus erudiret

Credo etiam in Christum,
Natum ex Maria et Ioseph,
Vitam dedit ut nobis paradisi viam monstraret
Sic, postquam sub Pontio passus est
Propter salutem
Nostram martyr perivit
Consecutus est Solem
Ubi Aristoteles ad Altissimi dexteram eum expectabat

Credo in Divinam Actionem,
Sanctam Ecclesiam aristotelicianam, romanam, unam et indivisibilem
Sanctorum communionem,
Peccatorum remissionem,
Carnis resurrectionem
Vitam aeternam.

AMEN"

The chamberlain went to the altar and leafing through the canon law of the church, recalled the role that a cardinal had in the holy church.

Dear brother, I wanted to briefly remind you all, the role that after this day you will need to take:

The Cardinals act as college and must validate, even 'a posteriori', their decisions by the College of Cardinals.
The Cardinals can celebrate all the sacraments of the Aristotelian Church.
The Cardinals only, are entitled to pronounce an excommunication.
The Cardinals alone, are able to validate a separation or an annulment of marriage.
The Cardinals, alone are with being able to validate defrocking of a Priest or Monk, volunteer or not.
The Cardinals have the right of veto on any decision taken by a member of the Clergy, save the Pope.
The Cardinals have the keys, and right of viewing, for all the buildings of Rome.

The title of Cardinal does not prohibit any office plurality with another duty in the Secular or Regular Clergy"

He paused:

"Brothers, now I call for the delivery of the cap and the cardinal's ring"

Thus, 'the secretary of the Camerlengo called on his knees in front of Alexander, the cardinal:

"Come forward his eminence Lujuria"

Helping herself of her crosier, the bishop approached to Cardinal Camerlengo and then she knelt before his feet.
