Hello,
a short question here. How is the case of minor characters handled in the charge of vicar/diacre? Is there already any tradition somewhere? |

Hello,
If you mean a secondary character on the forum (with the name in blue), I can answer you there is no rule neither tradition about it. Personally I shall answer you the charge of deacon/vicar is a RP charge and not an IG one, so you are fully able to appoint a secondary character as it if you wish. But it's only my point of vue. A second personal opinion would be this one: no player should say another player how he has to play, so you're really free to play as you wish. _________________

Thank you. Then we will have very likely a tradition soon. |

We had the same question in the Spanish Primacy... And our conclusion was that we can only use the secondary characters in order to complete the rp but not to do a ceremony by themselves (Mass, baptism, etc.). What do you think about this? _________________

If a secondary character is appointed deacon or ordered priest, I should let the secondary character do everything done by a real character. _________________

Wait. This is the advice of a player among others. It's not because my character is cardinal that my opinion has more value than other ones. _________________

I'm using secondary characters, but only as acolytes - helpers, caretakers, that sort of thing. I think players would appreciate interacting more with primary characters for the sacraments. My opinion only _________________

I don't have a definite opinion about this, though I would certainly lean towards that of Arnault's player. I can only say that I know masses have been celebrated in Burgundy by secondary characters which were a seperate character from the primary one. |
